Romney should have nailed "O" on " why did you and H.Clinton along with others sit for hours watching the attack on our people in Libya and not take action? You are directly responsible for the death of 4 Americans."

Exactly it would have been the knockout blow. Evidently he was to afraid to try it.

Agree with you TNgal, Romney should have pressed Zer0
on responsibility but I think the RNC is giving the voting
public credit for seeing through Zer0's words....words...meaningless
use of words that don't communicate and are laborious
to listen to. For example: "I take responsibility". Responsibility
is one's ability to respond. You either have it or don't but
you don't take it. Zer0 had the ability to beef up security in
Libya after we attacked Libya in violation of the War Powers
Act over 250 days to overthrow Libya's leader of 40 yrs.
"Yes We Can" beef up security in the aftermath of direct
conflict. Zer0 had the ability to respond to requests for
enhanced security in that context and chose not to approve
those repeated requests. Zer0 trying to "take" what he clearly
should have posseessed, the ability to respond- chose not to.
Now we're at accountability and the families of slain US
personnel want and deserve answers. Romney should
have pressed this politely, respectfully but firmly. Maybe
discretion is the better part of valor in this matter.

These matters go to the President's judgement or lack
thereof. Hopefully most voters will "see" that President
Obama failed to exercise good judgement in the Benghazi
matter.

Saved, to glorify God.
It was hilarious for OBama to try to condescendingly "instruct" Romney about bayonets and horses AS IF OBAMA HIMSELF WAS A COMPETANT, EDUCATED AND INFORMED LEADER. The joke was FUNNY, because it was on Obama, and was akin to an INCOMPETANT, ignorant, street bum trying to assert superiority, control, and unwarranted respect fom the "marks" he would panhandle by "putting down" with "zingers" those who challenge his right to dictate.

THAT WORKS IN THE GHETTO, WHERE "street creds" don't involve looking at your actual accomplishments, but only the "bling" you wear. and the bullshit you arrogantly spout.. But that doesn't "lose the posse" of voters examining your competence to continue leading.

You can't pull off "condescending" until something REAL about you gives you a CREDIBLE claim to SUPERIORITY, you don't "acquire superiority" by affecting a condescending demeanor!

Exactly! The pretense of this "community organizer" lecturing us
on economics is breathtaking. What a twit (ter)! Full of
himself, disrespectful, shrill and un-presidential.

This is why people should not rely on pre-digested news from any of the mainstream media - they have an agenda and they're going to follow it to the bitter end, one way or another...

I wish Romney would have brought of the fact that O was cheating with the wire in his ear!! I hate this. It makes me so sick! Why do we continue to let liars and cheaters run our country? Can't wait to hear what Donald Trump has on O!

I enlarged the pic as much as I could. I think the shiny thing is just a reflection. There didn't appear to be anything there. Maybe just an errant piece of ear wax.

All I know is Obama accused Romney of being all over the map, and Romney should have simply commented by saying something along the lines of, we are talking about foreign affairs and yes, that requires talking about things all over the map.

Last time Obama would have made that stupid comment. End of problem...

The MSM talking heads are frustrated this a.m. Romney may have disappointed many here by not taking it to Libya, etc., but it may have been a very shrewd plan of action by him. O appeared disconcerted every time R "agreed with him", which leads one to think perhaps he was overcoached on ways to respond and R removed the obect for his programmed responses. They are admitting that O won on points but R won the debate "wars". Interesting observation. By not losing, it may well be that R won - big!

You're kidding I hope. Although I don't always agree with him (but mostly I do), he is one of the brightest, if not the brightest, light illuminating on the issues of the day. I have always sought out his columns and never miss an opportunity to hear what he has to say. I have admired his wisdom for a long time and even more so when I understood the personal challenges he has had to face. He is truly a remarkable individual.

Too bad you think this way... Kraut is a globalist, elitist, establishment wonk and villain in every sense of the word.

Krauthammer was paralyzed in a car accident in the 70s.
He is a doctor, and a graduate of Harvard Medical School. He was chief resident of Mass. Gen Hospital. He was a practicing psychiatrist.
He began writing conservative columns in the 70s and is considered one of the intellectual leaders in conservative writings.
The man is paralyzed ST and you make fun of him for acting stiff and stilted.
I would put his political commentary up against yours anyday.
When you want thoughful well reasoned political commentary Krauthammer is your man.

Too bad they didn't pull the plug on his after the car accident--it would have spared us all this rubbish he spews in the subsequent decades.

When you want thoughtful well crafted establishment, globaloney commentary--yes Krauthammer is your puppet/wonk de-jur.

Why so much anger, ST - it just pours off from you in so many posts. Tolerance for others' opinions is not weakness and hateful words do not win others to your POV. Lets hear some of your own "thoughtful, well crafted commentary" instead of this. ^^^

Okay then, here's a well crafted response...

I am angry because soooooo freakin' many of you people here (and out there) are brainwashed beyond the point of salvage.
You think Krauthammer is a conservative--when in fact he is a "progressive/neo-con" mouth piece.

I have never, every hear the terms... "constitutional" nor "constitutional limits" nor anything of the sort from this rolling puss bag.... and yet so many of you think he is better than a box of Krispy Kreme.

When Barry Goldwater was alive (the guy Regan based his beliefs upon BTW), he would lay waste to Krauthammer and his globalist baloney.

This good enough?

Box of Krispy Kreme. Yum!

Actually, what is entirely missing in the Romney campaign is that "return to fundamentals." This is what set apart Ron Paul - but can't be allowed to propagate - at least according to the action of the mass media.

Mention "Constitution" or "Bill of Rights" and one gets labelled either as a terrorist, a demagog, or a dreamer by the media.

This horse dreams of being free - but it can never happen. Humanity shouldn't be so quick to throw freedom under the bus in return for a new cellphone, wide screen TV thingy, or even three squares.

But alas. Those words of Franklin keep coming to mind

"Sell not virtue to purchase wealth, nor Liberty to purchase power."

Or Liberty to purchase wealth. (Dobbin)

To ST re Krauthammer:

Wow, I just see him as a decent, intelligent human being. Never gave much thought to putting a specific label on him. Maybe that's how it should be. And I'm certainly not brainwashed (too insolated for that). I listen to what folks have to say, and if they make sense and don't lie, that's good enough for me. The problem as I see it is that for many the act of lying is no longer perceived as morally outrageous and common sense is in short supply. Anyhow, that's what I look for when assessing another human being. Anything else is just smoke and mirrors.
