Correct. The skill set is VERy DIFFERENT if she wasn't actually working as a nurse (yeah it's primarily documentation and nursing plans). Medics have HUGE differences in interventions .mil vs .civ... The differences arfe really there and civillians have a LOT of LEGAL issues .on another forum, and in my own former life as a paramedic.

My daughter was in the Army as a medic and that enabled her to be certified as an emt? I don't know the certifications. At any rate there was nothing in the Army that was equivalent to a nurse, lpn or rn.
Of course there are Army nurses--both male and female.
To be an RN requires a 4 year degree for a BSN, or a two year degree at a community college.
EMT training is just a few months.
Completely different animals.

R - greatest threat is nuclear Iran. China wants a stable world, they don't want protectionism. They want to put people to work as well. We can be a partner with China, we can work with them. They look at us and say is it a good idea to partner with America. they look at our debt, our decision to cut back on our military, the sec of def said the military cuts would be devastating, We need to have trade relations that will work for us. China holds down the value of their currency which makes them a currency manipulator and makes their goods cheaper.

I cannot believe what I am hearing on this debate...
Zipper-head A and Zipper-head B are basically saying the same things about interventionism (as if this is good and dandy) and war (as if this is our natural state now)... they are just disagreeing upon the implementation details.
Now imagine if Gary Johnson was included in this debate--and you would get completely different responses to these puff-ball questions.

I do not think either one is really doing a great job on this "debate".
I told you it was going to be a bloodbath. IMO that's exactly what it was. Going to be REAL interesting to see public opinion on who won. I believe Romney won, but no home run hits.

National License Paramedic EMT-P-L is the national Licensed Paramedic and does require 2 yr or more degree. Paramedics certified by the individual state may or may not require degree. These have the patch of EMT-P.
