What a piece of work. He is just playing games to delay the inevitable. He is purposely doing so., the guy is a remorseless killer, It is all a game to him. He knows the outcome. He is a useless piece of shit and he is all about drama and attention. Smoke and mirrors, but he knows at the end of the day he is going down.

Just once, I'd like to see a major city have a policy that EVERYONE arrested and booked for so much as 3 hours, gets their hair cut to mil specs, all their tattoos lasered or chemically completely burned off that day, and all their piercings yanked out and thrown away. If nothing else, the scummiest of perps (think Antifa, BLM and MS-13) would quickly be VERY motivated to avoid getting arrested in that jurisdiction.

If anyone has an interest in criminal law, this is a good case to watch. Someone is doing a good job coaching him as a sovereign citizen/ third party intervener. He brings up his constitutional rights quite often and has some good points. I think he would have been a very good defense atty in another life. HIs almost constant objections screw with the flow of the witness testimony and I think that's the purpose; almost all of them are nonsense and are overruled.

Maybe, while he's hopefully spending the rest of his life in prison, he'll study law and help with the Innocence Project. That might be an iota of payback for all the death and destruction he did.

Can you even begin to imagine for one minute, the defendant demanding to cross examine one of the survivors of the vehicular assault? Or cross examine a family member of the deceased?

I would refuse to take the stand or to answer any of his questions.

It's going to happen during this trial and it is going to be pandemonium when it does happen.

I don't know what the point is, but I know that in previous trials judges have decided they have had "enough" of a whacked-out defendant defending themselves and replaced them with a public attorney. Now that may vary from State to State but there are precedents and I suspect the judge will move when/if the clown show gets so out of hand they can rule the defendant unable to defend themselves or in contempt of court and unable to defend themselves. We shall see.

Judge Jennifer Dorow tossed Darrell Brooks from court on Tuesday morning, Oct. 18 for being disruptive to the cross-examination of his own defense witness. He repeatedly objected to questions posed to the witness. Those were overruled -- and eventually the judge tossed Brooks. He was going to rejoin the proceedings from an adjacent courtroom.

She tossed him out but let him right back in. I've never seen such a fiasco as this trial has become. Tomorrow at noon central time, the jury will be taken to a nearby location to view the vehicle. Brooks doesn't want to go; we'll see what happens.
