Thanks bardou!

My mom was in the car and she talked to him telling him we crossed the caution banner. The drone he mentions belonged to self proclaimed conspiracist,
his words..He was going to put the drone video on facebook. He sent me and m.y nephew his video. Empty town, decent size area quite a few homes, gas station, post office.

And the post office was the closest building to the entrance...still had the flag flying.

One thing this guy noted was there was no trash. He son wAnted to dumpster dive but all trash was gone.

We noted this place was spotless, devoid of trash. The only noise was from 3 large fans in the middle of a flat field. They were built into the ground. Hmm. Underground rooms?

And what's with the continued appearance of the Blackhawks?

Yep, minkycat

People here are not happy with what happened. From what I heard 2 to 3 people have come forward saying family members who worked at the site are still missing after a week. Can't confirm this just what I heard.

There is another YouTube video linked in the huge Martial Law thread. It is drone footage. I commented there that it loojs to me as if there is significant damage to a roof right at the end, up in the upper right corner of the video. I'm on my tablet and don't have access to software that would give me a better look, though.

I wouldn't trust the FBI for a micro second.

My first thought is that somehow the DEEP STATE is involved?

An advanced version of Project Bluebeam is happening here?

Here is the video (run time 1:27)

At :15 there appears to be 2 people standing in the roadway.
At 1:12 you can see the roof in the upper right corner.

I checked satellite image from mapquest and google maps and the roof appears undamaged, although google maps had part of it blurred out.

I know why the FBI closed the National Solar Observatory!

According to reddit Tweet

brglynn - sept 11, 2018, 10:45
Chinese were spying on White Sands Missile Tests via antennae array at observatory site.

This alone would make it understandable why it is closed down, people/suspects held and or moved indefinably until they find the who and why every single bit of evidence is gone including trash! And cleaned to the point no guards are needed. It would also explain the juicing that Internet System that was taken out that was all connected including NoPlugs! Interesting someone had mentioned a missile was launched from White Sands not to long ago...

So lets go deeper now into the scada system which I knew nothing about until TB mentioned it earlier on another thread the Mass Explosions, Retaliatory?

SUNSPOT, NEW MEXICO – The mystery surrounding the evacuation of a small mountainous area in Southern New Mexico has led to a lot of conspiracy theories.

The Sunspot Solar Observatory is blocked by a line of caution tape. Officials with the observatory say they are investigating a security incident.

Local law enforcement said the FBI is the agency investigating, but they remain in the dark.

39Telescope_did_not_see_aliens39_but_Sunspot_mystery_continues-syndImport-111221.jpg

“The FBI has not contacted us. We don't know what they took, what their reason for being there was. We have no information on it," said Sgt. Jon Emery of the Otero County Sheriff’s Office.

Residents who have been evacuated said they haven’t gotten many answers either.

“It is very frustrating being out of our home. I will say that and I can't wait until this is over," Sean Williams said.

He’s heard about the conspiracy theories flooding the internet.

“Boy, people come up with some outlandish stuff," he said. “An alien landed here."

However, James McAteer, a New Mexico State University professor who is also the director of the Sunspot Solar Observatory said the “telescope did not see aliens. All data will be made public in its unaltered form. Nothing is hidden or kept secret."

The FBI has not commented on the investigation.

Evacuees said they have not been told when they could possibly return home.

"My feeling is it’s going to be something stupid and small and minuscule when it’s all said and done but we will see,” Williams said.

I would accept the logical explanation of the facility shutting down because of Chinese infiltration more than aliens or sun spots except for these clues.

First, in the trespasser video, he comes across an Xfiles movie sitting on top of a trash can. Clearly, that was left and placed there purposefully for such individuals to misdirect or tongue-in-cheek, mock.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_AVdVBvSjcU

Then there was the smell he commented on. The ONLY thing one would smell in an abandoned compound in the mountains would be forest smells such as pine, etc.

Does that smell have anything to do with the building that looks damaged?

The roof has paint that looks to be removed or scraped off yet, intact. On the side, however, there looks to be a burn area.

It looks like they are repainting OR refoaming the roof. On the side you are seeing large bushes AND THEIR SHADOWS close to the building. IMHO.

Well, you don't move people out of their homes living there if it's "small and minuscule." No one knows where they went, no one has any contact with the people who lived and worked there, nothing. I don't know what happened and I agree with Terrriannie that the X-file tape box was left there as a joke.

Can anyone think of anything to followup on or look for at sunspot? My brother and nephew and the youtube guy and drone guy are going back up there. We have some thoughts of our own but more suggestions are very welcome. It might be secured by now.....don't know til go back. I'm still in cloudcroft so ill still be asking around.
Also when at my brothers we heard a big military cargo plane galaxy? C5? Fly over he said this has been happening a lot lately. Related?

Also I just heard from my nephew this am he has video of a Blackhawk that just flew by his house.

Yep something is going on here

For what it is worth:
The solar/space cams that were shut down include:

AXIS 232D Network Dome Camera located in Sydney Australia.
Webcams located at SOAR Observatory – The Southern Astrophysical Research Telescope located in Chile.
BRT Tenerife Telescope Webcam located in Spain.
Webcam located at Mauna Kea observatory at the University of Hawaii Hilo.
Webcam from the Canada-France-Hawaii Telescope observatory in Hawaii.
Webcam at JAT OBservatory in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania.
Oddly, the title of the article uses the phrase "solar hurricanes" which, if intentional, implies a stronger relationship between "solar storms" and "hurricane behavior" than previosly.
Also interesting that all of these are in the western hemisphere

https://www.worldtribune.com/why-do...ies-closed-worldwide-for-unspecified-reasons/

At the same time Hurricane Florence was bearing down on the east coast of the U.S. and a massive hole opened in the Sun’s corona, at least seven solar observatories/space webcams shut down worldwide, reports say.
Mount Teide Observatory in Tenerife.

The National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, New Mexico shut down on Sept. 6 and has not re-opened, the local ABC TV affiliate reported.

The Australian news site abc.net.au reported that solar storms could be the culprit.

Solar storms are weather events on the Sun that produce a huge release of energy, heat, light and particles of plasma out into space.

These events can have widespread and potentially devastating effects on Earth. A solar storm known as the ‘Carrington event’ disrupted telegraph systems around the world in 1859.

The FBI has since showed up to the observatory in New Mexico, and a Black Hawk helicopter has been seen circling overhead, the media reports say. Officials would only that they were “addressing a security issue.”

Otero County Sheriff Benny House told the Alamogordo Daily News that “The FBI were up there. What their purpose was nobody will say. But for the FBI to get involved that quick and be so secretive about it, there was a lot of stuff going on up there. There was a Black Hawk helicopter, a bunch of people around antennas and work crews on towers but nobody would tell us anything.”

The FBI is communicating with local authorities on the length of the closure.

“They spoke with my sergeant initially and they said that they would be down for a few days,” Sheriff House told ABC affiliate KVIA.

The FBI did not specify the reason for the closure and Sheriff House told ABC 7 that his department had nothing to do with either the observatory closure, or the Sunspot post office closure.

A spokesperson for the United States Postal Service told ABC 7 that they were given specific instructions. “We were told on Sept. 6th that we would be evacuated along with the surrounding area, we were not told why,” Rod Sturgeon said, “We were told just to be out of the area.”

The mysterious activity at the observatory has sparked theories across the Internet given its alignment with with this week’s solar storm.

SHTFplan.com’s Mac Slavo said the New Mexico observatory closed just as the hole opened up in the Sun’s corona, officially kicking off a watch for a geomagnetic storm.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) issued a storm watch for a G2-level solar storm on Sept. 11.

Solar activity tends to come and go in cycles lasting around 11 years, analysts say, and the Sun is currently experiencing a continuing period of inactivity.

The Sun was predicted to reach its ‘”solar minimum” low point in 2019 or 2020, according to NASA’s calculations.

the spotless nature of the area and the trash being gone is not surprising. it does make a more pointed direction in which to think what is going on though.

Oreally

Right from the start
but why would the plain fact of ongoing, or imminent, solar storms necessitate the shutdown of solar observatories worldwide?

or at least public access to their data. or seeing what was going on at those places?

very weird

Shutting down Sunspot wasn't done for budget reasons, nobody was given notice their employment was ended.....

So it is a temporary shutdown. It is not for maintenance as the FBI is involved and they don't clean up messes too well - e.g. Russia probe v Trump.

If the info Someone doesn't want the public to know isn't available to all, who knows the reason and where is the observatory which is still reporting to the Someones?

Or was this just a terrorist incident/theft/crime and has nothing to do with weather?

Here is a site with links to just about everything to do with Space weather and observatories. Mike Boschat lives in Canada and has nothing else to do but play in Space!!

My theory:
Sept 30 is the end of the fiscal year and the Trump administration decided to consolidate solar research and cut funding for this site.
Which would have been all fine and well except a disgruntled employee went postal and sabotaged the facility which resulted in the release of mercury into the surrounding area.
Which necessitated evacuation of all personnel.
And they are keeping it hushed up least some crazy global warming nuts copy cat it
just a theory

The usual reasons for closing down, evacuating, and scrubbing the site are related to classified spills, or suspected spying activity. You get a chance to deep interview everyone and see if any evidence is there. Scientists often have international contacts. The Chinese reds are not to be trusted, period. In my time in the loop, I saw security procedures changed by a combination of suspected or proven, compromises and political correctness. I know someone who worked at another research lab who related specific problems with the Reds. None of this may have anything to do with Sunspot, but the behavior looks familiar. And, yes the FBI gets involved and they don't tell you jack shit.

well for the amount of corruption in the doj, and the fbi,

the cynical side of me says, they the feds are trying to do something that gets blamed on trump

seems that's all , the many of the other govment/ media/news employees are so wrapped up in , gotta blame it on trump , what ever it was or happened, its gotta be trumps fault

right,

Shutting down various earth bound solar telescopes is one thing. But if they start shutting down or deactivating the solar watching satellites, then we may be looking at a sun related problem. If solarham.net starts experiencing issues, then we need to sit up and pay a little more attention.

Maybe it's the Kill Shot coming, and they dont want us to see it??

This is getting a little too close to the plot of the TV series "Salvation" that even includes a group called "Q17." The plot is an asteroid on it's way to collision with earth.

Not buying the tons of liquid mercury story. Mercury doesn't just show up in nature; it requires extensive processing from cinnabar, a mineral. If it's a solar observatory, there may be some data showing up that doesn't at all match the warming climate change narrative. Other than that, I'm clueless. Most likely it is drugs, since it's so close to the border.

stop, you're making too much sense.

I'm betting the explanation offered about Chinese spying on missile test launches is close to the truth.

The stuff about antennas doesn't surprise me. It seems logical to me that when a missile moves through an area in space saturated with various radiations of different part of spectrum( visible light, microwave etc) and we are offered an expalianation that antennas are involved....well a missile moving might disturb radiation patterns between antennas that might reveal (after analysis) flight performance characteristics.

I mentioned in an earlier post (#53)on this thread that Nevadas Area 51 had all surrounding mountain vistas acquired to thwart curious visitors. Spying using radiation distortion patterns as a missile zooms through would be one way getting around restrictions.

So why IS the National Solar Observatory closed? Sunspot says mercury spill isn't behind mysterious evacuation and insists they have NOT made contact with aliens, despite claims of UFO sightings

National Solar Observatory in Sunspot, NM has been closed since last Thursday

Officials say they are addressing a 'security issue,' but have not elaborated on it

The observatory released a statement on Sept 13 addressing the 'excitement'

But, it has not revealed any details about the closure, says it will reopen soon

Scientists at the observatory, however, say telescope has not detected aliens

After days of radio silence from officials in charge of the shutdown at a solar observatory in Sunspot New Mexico, the public has been left to come up with its own explanations for what might be going on.

Operations at the National Solar Observatory have been suspended since September 6, when it was abruptly evacuated and closed down until further notice.

Theories have varied from the mundane to the extraordinary, with some even suggesting aliens could be at the root of it all.

Among the more down to Earth suggestions, some people have proposed that the facility may have suffered a leak at its Richard B. Dunn Solar Telescope, which relies on a mercury float bearing.

But, the team that operates the telescope has since confirmed that there has not been a mercury incident.

The scientists also insist the mysterious shutdown is not the result of an extraterrestrial encounter, as alien conspiracies continue to build.

The National Solar Observatory in Sunspot has been closed since last Thursday, along with the nearby post office and roughly a dozen residents, but officials remain tight-lipped as to what’s going on.

The secrecy persists even as local media report the FBI has showed up to the site, and Blackhawk helicopters have been seen circling overhead.

There's been little insight as to what the 'security issue' may be, but now, we know two things it definitely is not – aliens or toxic mercury.

‘There’s no mercury incident,’ Sunspot Solar Observatory Director R.T. James McAteer told the Alamogordo Daily News this week.

‘That’s a completely different set of protocols that would not have involved them locking all the doors.

‘We have a very regular maintenance routine. There is no cause for concern there.’

The director also briefly addressed the more outrageous claims, telling a local news station flat-out that the 'telescope did not see aliens.'

According to McAteer, the truth will soon come out.

'All data will be made public in its unaltered form,' McAteer told KOB 4. 'Nothing is hidden or kept secret.'

Still, the ongoing silence has done nothing but stoke suspicions that something otherworldly is up at the observatory, and claims of alien activity and UFO sightings are spreading like wildfire across the internet.

Some people have proposed that the facility suffered a leak at its Richard B. Dunn Solar Telescope, which relies on a mercury float

The observatory finally issued a statement on its website and across social media this Thursday, but it's done little to quell the excitement, offering no explanation on why the facility was shut down.

The Sunspot Solar Observatory tweeted a link to its statement on Sept 13, exactly a week after the initial shutdown.

‘On Thursday September 6th, AURA made the decision to temporarily close Sunspot,’ the observatory said in a statement shared on social media.

‘The Sunspot Solar Observatory continues to work closely with AURA in order to allow for us to reopen as soon as possible.

‘With the excitement this closure has generated, we hope you will come and visit us when we do reopen, and see for yourself the services we provide for science and public outreach in heliophysics.’

Though several days have passed since the evacuation, no details have been released.

The facility is managed by the Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy (AURA), and has been vacant since September 6.

Last week, a spokesperson for AURA told the Alamogordo Daily News that they evacuated as a ‘precautionary measure.’

Otero County Sheriff Benny House revealed that even local law enforcement has been kept in the dark, despite being told to stand by.

‘The FBI is refusing to tell us what’s going on,’ House told Alamogordo Daily News.

We’ve got people up there that requested us to standby while they evacuate it. Nobody would really elaborate on any of the circumstances as to why.

‘The FBI were up there. What their purpose was nobody will say. But for the FBI to get involved that quick and be so secretive about it, there was a lot of stuff going on up there.

‘There was a Blackhawk helicopter, a bunch of people around antennas and work crews on towers but nobody would tell us anything.’

As of September 11, officials confirmed the facilities were still closed, and would not be reopened until they were given the green light.

‘We were told on September 6th that we would be evacuated along with the surrounding area, we were not told why,’ USPS spokesperson Rod Sturgeon told ABC 7 KVIA.
