HEALTH “Catastrophic Contagion” - Gates newest tabletop exercise (OP Dec 2022)

ESFP adrift in INTJ sea

Some people and organizations plan to avoid brain-freeze, gridlock, misplaced resources and untrained manpower.
Others simply react...
MY best example of this is the weekend that the Medina County Fairgrounds did a full up MCI/Disaster Drill for something at the Fairgrounds (I BELIEVE that the drill was a steam engine blast with MANY injuries/fatalities) and the hot-wash after that drill engendered some comms changes, some tuning of authorities and some rearrangements of where helo's were normally staged. ALL of those adjustments were made in a RAPID manner so they were in effect within 2 weeks when one of the larger steam tractors at the Steam Festival went high order.

I was working for one of the tertiary hospitals in the region and was able to watch, in real time, how over a dozen hospitals from Columbus, OH to Detroit to Buffalo, managed to get everyone in need of ICU/Burn unit etc taken care of. This was a SERIOUS NDMS challenge event that damn near shut down ALL of us with just slightly over 40 ICU patients and 60 or so serious but not ICU-needing patients. Take a look at the map to get a legit handle on just HOW MANY hospitals were involved.
HENCE, I am a serious proponent of drills.

I wonder how many times they have tried to start a pandemic, and it didn’t “take” because of good sanitation, clean water supply, refrigeration, etc. I almost think the place to start a pandemic mentioned in the OP, is in a third world country area that doesn’t have access to these things. Of course, covid never took off in Africa, or even Haiti. And now we know they had help adding up motorcycle crash victims, heart attacks, people treated with remdesivir and vents, to Jack up the covid numbers. I suspect they’d use the same dirty tricks again for another pandemic.

I think the main problem that most people have with these kinds of "tabletop exercises" is that they cover fairly specific scenarios, and somehow that very scenario plays out not long after. Even Chuck's anecdote about a boiler explosion could be an example, although it's probably much easier to prepare for a steam tractor boiler explosion when you have an upcoming steam exhibition where century-old live steam machinery will be in operation. "Forecasting" pandemics a year or two in the future is little more than Wild-Ass Guessing with a tiny whiff of actuarial analysis sprinkled on top, yet somehow, something very close to the exercise shows up.

A lot of us would be way less suspicious if they tabletopped pandemic o pandem

Goodness before greatness.
Sonofabitch. Gates isn't planning this. This is AI assisted. The viral enhancements are AI assisted. The sequence of mutating viral types is AI assisted.

This news release is PR to get you to look. Makes Gates look like he's causing it, because nobody is prescient. Predictive analytics run by AI approximates prescience.

Chuck, I'm getting tachycardic and nauseous. That's not good.

HAL finally stood up as humanity stood down.

Why wouldn’t he?

Moderna has a mRNA vaxx lined up for RSV.

And Pfizer has one using new technolog for 60 years old and up. And what's extra concerning they have one that's for pregnant women in 2nd and 3rd trimester to vaccinate the fetus. Been in trials for 2 years.

They've both passed major hurdle with FDA, of course, and looking at may 2023 for final approval.

Might go to emergency use authorization if the hospitals/physicians keep screaming for RSV to be declared a health emergency with all the covid 19 bells and whistles.

This would take out the rest of the 60 and up plus the babies and moms.

After the covid vaxx what could possibly go wrong??

As it is apparently turning out, Deagle was right.

Ya know, if you let crap this put you into a "state"... you're (all by yourself) lowering your immunity to all kinds o' contagious crap. Cortisol & stress responses are absolutely something you can learn to manage better - and I'm not advocating "head in the sand syndrome".

So, investigate, research, discuss... but don't let it wind you up or push you over the edge. It's just SSDD with the current crop of dick-taters who think they're best qualified to tell everyone else what to do. People have been catching bugs and getting sick for eons -- and we treated them at home JUST FINE, without a lot of fancy drugs or vaccines. LEARN about those remedies; their variable strengths/efficacy; read the cautions and potential side effects of the Rx's the AMA docs are pushing (without consideration for any potential drug interactions: that isn't covered in med school - just pharmacy school). Learn about nutrition's and exercise's role in health. And treat yourself and your family.

And know when something is beyond your knowledge, skill and ability.

Nobody gets bent out of shape when the military war games all sorts of horrible stuff out over a big round table. Happens all the time, in all sorts of fields, including medical and emergency planning.

I agree. This is only a "tabletop exercise". Nothing says that it's actually going to happen or is happening. But, we all need to get our DOOM fix, don't we? :hof:

From the John Hopkins website:

Countries should prioritize efforts to increase trust in government and public health; improve public health communication efforts; increase the resiliency of populations to misleading information; and reduce the spread of harmful misinformation.

In future pandemics, we should continue to expect even more major disruptions from misinformation and disinformation.

The WHO can be a globally trusted source, and it can share science and public health information widely, but we should not expect it alone to combat or put a stop to the spread of this mis- and disinformation.

Countries need to collaborate to anticipate that threat and prepare to combat it with their own laws and procedures. Just as many types of economic and societal harms can be anticipated and accounted for in pandemic preparedness plans, so too can predictable false or misleading health messaging. Concertedly exploring ways to address this phenomenon on a national level in advance of the next pandemic will be crucial to saving lives.

They gotta rein-in that damned free thinking and analysis!

TB Fanatic
When I was ICD9 coding for radiology I, fairly often, got records for RSV in babies and small children, it wasn't easy but mostly they all recovered. This was in the 90's and the world has changed.

My mother's oldest sister had polio, she was greatly helped by the Shriners Hospital in Shreveport, LA. One leg was thinner than the other and I think it did something to her brain because she was always a little nuttier than the rest. All three of her children are seriously less than normal, but my mother's youngest sister was nuts and so are her three children. I have nothing to do with these people. My mother was number 3, number 2's children are like me, we march to the beat of a different drummer, although we have been contributing members to society, not so the children of #1 and #4.

Covid was part one. This could well be part two. I've always believed it was a binary attack and part two will release hell on earth.

I keep think thinking of the movie "V for Vendetta".

If your scenario is correct, I wouldn't be surprised if there were more than 2 tools in their 'toolbox'...

Can you add any clarity to that statement? i.e. why? What benefits does it have, if any?
Some stinky tofu tastes better than others, the benefits are the gut health, eye health and skin cleansing affects of fermented tofu. The best fermented tofu, imo, are the ones that are infused with pepper and/or chilli and herbs.

Me, either! Common sense is getting harder to find, and some seem to just live for the Doom and Gloom.
Gates et al held an exercise on a coronavirus pandemic in October 2019.

They held an exercise on a monkeypox pandemic and postulated a start date within days of the actual start date this year.

Johns Hopkins held the Dark Winter exercise in 2001 and postulated that a smallpox pandemic would start in Oklahoma. The race riot cemetery dig is occurring exactly where a smallpox cemetery twenty years before the riot should be. They resumed digging again this year and stopped again December 8. So we shall see.

The catastrophic contagion exercise postulates a pandemic enterovirus originating in Brazil in 2025.

Yeah, I'm watching. That's not panic, or my doppelganger would be getting it on right now.

The World Economic Forum held a global pandemic exercise along with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the WHO in October of 2019 to gameplay what was to be done and it was called Event 201. Is it necessarily to point out what happened four months later?

I and others paid attention and we were on record here in Feb 2020 of a pandemic inbound and told people to source PPE and meds. Those that paid attention were ready and not blindsided and you can read about it right from the WEF link here:

Now the very same entities are doing another one. Doom and gloom or being proactive against organizations that would like nothing better to kill you off to reduce the carbon footprint? Pay attention or not we can whistle pass the graveyard or at least be aware of another one most likely in the pipe. It is a point of ‘honor’ among the globalists to telegraph their moves in advance.

I have my own personal beliefs about all of this, but we would have to take it to the Religion section, and I'm not interested. Everyone has free will to believe as they wish, also. I, for one, choose not to live in fear.

Since when does being aware and proactive equate living in fear? God is in control and none of this happening today is any cause to be fearful. Sometimes faith is also expressed by taking action. The Ostrich hides it’s head in the sand to convince itself that it is safe. If being unaware helps someone not to be fearful to each his own.

That is not what I was saying at all. I will not get the thread off track by trying to explain it further. Yeah, to each their own.

I can't stand the texture of Tofu, any way it's fixed.
Tempeh, though, is food of the gods. Fried in bacon grease.

K, so what can DeSantis ask the Florida legislature to pass to keep the monsters from winning next time? What legislative hurdles will keep them from separating kids from their parents if they refuse the vax, what will keep communication open?
