This stuff with Iraq is pretty sudden and ferocious, that's for sure.

If it is directed by Iran, Russia nominally backs Iran in their interests vis-a-vis Syria, so this would put us even more starkly in opposition with Russia.

I left out the three global pandemic threats of MERS, Ebola, and China's Bird Flu. All of which have been in the news the last month or so due to increases in reported cases and deaths.

The ISIS restarting of Middle Age barbarism is also a significant development in the last two weeks. It is hard to believe ISIS started on June 10th, a mere 4 days ago.

Yep, it is both the type of event happening, as well as the number of them happening in sequence; finally, it is global scale of them all meaning you get quite the bang out of all them combined.

I recently came upon an interesting term called "Super Synergy." Synergy is where 2 plus 2 equals 5. Supersynergy is where 2 plus 2 equals 12.

I am thinking as I look at the scope and scale of the various independent events we are seeing Super Synergy in action. For instance, while we have been following the barbaric ISIS reign of terror in Iraq there was a news story about volunteer troops heading towards Kashmir to liberate it for Islam. This is the kind of independent follow on event which fits the Super Synergy model.

I am thinking we are going to see a literal explosion of violence from completely unexpected sources at this point.

You forgot about China aggressively moving in on its neighbors in the China Seas. And the fact that China has an even greater ponzi going than we do, much greater. And that their Greater Ponzi is just about ready to pop from all reports. Their Shadow Banking System is teetering, what with housing prices continuing a five month slide and loans based on missing collateral are going belly up and causing a domino effect. It is our corruption times ten over there. And they do want to bury us.

So yeah, I think that recently a lot of people have come to the same conclusion that you have, myself included. You would have to be about unconscious not to feel it. And the overlay of putrid corruption emanating from the Beltway with the White House as the epicenter with no end in sight makes one feel like the next victim in a slasher movie who has just dropped acid. It is all so very surreal and sickening, if you have loved this country as it was decades back.

So with that environment here at home in which Liberty is dying by a thousand cuts coupled with what is happening overseas, (and they are connected), you are seeing the End of Pax Americana. This era is not long for this world.

Yes, I think we are losing some good people who succumb to this belief. While it very well may be legitimate I think too many times it is a way of taking the easy way out. To my mind you fight evil every step of the way to the edge of the abyss, and then you let God handle it when you tumble uncontrolled into it.

It can be very tiring and draining to wake to this "critical mass" situation every day so one must take some breaks now and then. But the struggle defines your soul, hones your soul for the hereafter. So even lost causes, (if they are truly lost and we don't know that until everything plays out), have their purpose.

Folding your hands and saying "God's Will" and "Let the End Times Roll" does nothing for the present reality in which some good can be done in the midst of cresting evil.

Right from the start
i've been trying to keep up with the ebola situation in west africa, and people, i have to tell you it is not good!

so far the number of reported cases (which has got to be only 50-70% of the actual total given that this is west africa. . . ) has been doubling about every 4-5 weeks so far. From 30 or so in early march to 500 now. local newspapers there are reporting whole families being found dead, and abandoned villages.

it seems to beyond containment in this three nation area known as the "mano river region" . they are running out of pp gear, and doctors and nurses are running away from hospitals.

if this progression holds we worldwide are in for a big leap around summer of 2015, when there will be probably several million infected - and probably not all in africa, which will probably serve to promote a synergy like doug has mentioned.

Be Well, Over at PFI Monotreme just posted the article about Ebola, the latest update. From what I can gather I think the "airborne" aspect of it is the increase in population density in all of these regions over time. It is just what many experts have predicted over the last few decades. It is the synergy of disease spread and geometric population increases.

As far as hiding out after getting symptoms I would do the same. You could hope in the early stages that it was something else. To go into one of those treatment centers would be almost certain death.

Anyway to answer your question precisely all that I have read on this Ebola outbreak over at PFI indicates that it is the same virus. It just has hit the sweet spot for spread, just like pandemic flu needs to do in order to get up a head of steam and become catastrophic. I would not get overly alarmed at this point, but if this continues......

wow! just reading that question actually sent chills over my whole body!

ans: not sure. it is a different strain, but that area of africa is much more densly populated than the other aresa of more remore cental and east africa where all the previous outbreaks occurred. recall that video of conakry that i posted early on in this.

so we don't know. yet. and if it is, TPTB aren't going to tell us any time soon, or ever, before this reaches seveal tens of million infected, sometime in 2015-16.

Thank you for your answers, Oreally and Medical Maven. Just another one of those possible horrors. I should go over to PFI and read. It does sound as though in addition to the more populated factor, it may have changed enough to be a bit more easily transmissible, even if not airborne.

Yet another reason to live in a low population area and be a recluse.

Drudgereport.com is showing a headline that claims that "Ebola is totally out of control" at this point. Assuming Ebola ever shifts to the airborne vector this guarantees a global pandemic. Ebola still has a very high kill rate for a disease. Ebola is now showing the classic "second wave" scenario. All the puff about how how the cases were going down hid the true spread of the disease. We also have to be aware of how dismal West African state public health and medical ability really is.

At any rate, Doomer Doug read several books on the Black Death of 1348 in Europe. The idea that up to 25 percent of the current 7 plus BILLION human beings alive now can be killed by any disease, much less one as vicious as Ebola is truly one that is completely possible. The key for that is changing the disease spread vector from close contact with body fluids, to sneezing, coughing and airborne droplet dispersal vector.

I will say quite plainly: the day Ebola can be spread like the common cold, we will see another Black Death scenario on a global basis.

Yeah, it's really sounding like this strain of Ebola has gone airborne, since it's been reported to be spreading through entire families! I don't generally get frightened of possible pandemic diseases, but I don't mind admitting this gives me cold chills.

Oreally--Thank you for the report on ebola. I remember reading about outbreaks in the past. Terrible as they were, they were over pretty quickly. This news is really a huge deal.

DAKAR, Senegal (AP) — The Ebola outbreak ravaging West Africa is "totally out of control," according to a senior official for Doctors Without Borders, who says the medical group is stretched to the limit in responding.

The outbreak has caused more deaths than any other of the disease, said another official with the medical charity. Ebola has been linked to more than 330 deaths in Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia, according to the World Health Organization.

International organizations and the governments involved need to send in more health experts and increase public education messages about how to stop the spread of the disease, Bart Janssens, the director of operations for the medical group in Brussels, told The Associated Press on Friday.

"The reality is clear that the epidemic is now in a second wave," Janssens said. "And, for me, it is totally out of control."

The Ebola virus, which causes internal bleeding and organ failure, spreads through direct contact with infected people. There is no cure or vaccine, so containing an outbreak focuses on supportive care for the ill and isolating them to limit the spread of the virus.

In the last month since the last post we have seen total chaos break out in my critical mass theory.

Israel invaded Gaza due to HAMAS launching 150 missiles per day into Israel.

Flight 17 was shot down using a SAM or Air to Air missile.

Ebola has now been "confirmed" as going to an aerial dispersal vector. This means people "may" get it from someone infected with Ebola coughing. Or was it MERS that went airborne. With THREE potential global pandemic sources: ebola, Mers and Chinese Bird flu it is hard to keep up with all the doom and gloom. <G>

Yep, that also leaves out the dismal economy, the foreign hordes invading the USA, Obama and his #$%% wife being especially lunatic etc etc

Come September, we will be seeing more illness and health issues and violence nationwide in our schools as the illegals enter the public education system. As the reality of the narco culture hit small towns across the US, the reaction of the citizens will be telling.

Only 20% or less of the illegals are children. It is the tattooed 'teens' that will cause the problems and chaos. And then as the new drug gangs fight for a position in the 'market' and enlarge their territory- well I think we will be getting very close to the critical mass because all of the above factors will effect many who have never been in close contact with this illegal culture.

Massive TB outbreak at Sacramento High School, at least 111 infected
Sacramento County public health officials say 64 more Grant Union High School students have been diagnosed with latent tuberculosis.

This brings the total number of students and staff with the diagnosis to 111 since February. Latent tuberculosis has no symptoms and is not infectious, but it can become active after a long period of dormancy.

“It is higher than what we expected,” said Olivia Kasirye, Sacramento County public health officer of the number. “At this time there are no plans of expanding (testing). We haven’t identified any other factors that would put any other students or teachers at a reasonable exposure to warrant testing.”

Kasirye met with parents of the students who tested positive on Tuesday and will speak to other parents at a meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday in the multipurpose room at the Del Paso Heights school.

Tuberculosis is spread through the air when infected people cough, laugh, sneeze or sing. It cannot be spread through hand-shaking or touching objects such as doorknobs or railings.

Health department staff began screening students and staff at Grant Union High after a student was diagnosed with active tuberculosis, which attacks the lungs and can be fatal. Two hundred people who had direct contact with the student were initially tested. Of those, 47 tested positive for latent tuberculosis.

The high numbers of positive tests prompted county officials to ask another 500 students and teachers to be screened on May 5. They targeted those who used the rooms immediately after the infected student, as well as students in classrooms that shared a ventilation system with classrooms frequented by the student. Only 260 showed up for the second screening; 64 tested positive for latent tuberculosis.
