I am like you. I've never done any drugs and I don't drink alcohol. I have chronic pain and all the doctor offers is NSAID's. I wish MJ was legal because I'd like to try it for pain relief. If it is ever legalized nationally, I would not be surprised if they make it legal for commercial sellers but make it illegal for individuals to grow some for their personal use. Don't wanna mess with Big Pharma's profits $$$$.I've never smoked anything including tobacco or marijuana. Having lived with a mother who smoked heavily while we kids lived at home - a big NO THANKS. Besides that, marijuana stinks even worse than tobacco. Yuck. Don't want to put any more smoke of any kind into my lungs than what annual Canadian forest fires provide. Haha. Never used illegal drugs, including marijuana, recreationally. I'm the kind of born schlub who always gets caught, and besides, am self-aware and self-respectful enough to not want to ever have my brain altered to the point of irresponsibility. Not to mention having the combo to that safe at work, keeping it's records, and being subject to random drug tests and DEA visits.
Yet post-retirement, I've used topical CBD oil (with THC) to surprising physical pain relief. Seen how much it relieves the symptoms of my best friend with MS. In the past, have worked with people (and listened to their rants) who were inhibited by the ridiculous Fed classification of marijuana from doing legitimate research on it's medical properties. If this reclass finally allows research into those promising medical uses, THAT is what will be important.
Not making stoners happy.
Tough times on many levels are coming
and "they" want as many people as possible to be doped up, not motivated to ask questions (Whatever man . . ."),
and too lethargic to respond or get aggressive.
NopeIt may be the "you'll be happy" part of the equation.
You may own nothing, but at least you'll be able to get high.
Good post. Been growing my own since the 80s.Full on legal here in Maine. Now a great demonstration of the laws of supply and demand. From my town to the next, 8 miles south, there are 10 pot shops. 10. All are starving; wonder why. Then to the north another 9 miles, there are 9 pot shops. 9. Also starving. State mega regs and monster taxes add further crush to the businesses.
Finally, to top all that off, it is legal to grow your own. Why pay $100+/oz for someone’s chemically enhanced commercial brew when you can order pure genetics seeds from Amsterdam (seeds not considered a drug due to no THC in them, so OK to ship) and grow your own prime stuff at 2% of retail cost, plus the satisfaction of creating something naturally pure?
I have tons of elderly patients who found near miraculous arthritis releif from the generous grandkids’ stash.
My thoughts exactlyWonder how that’ll affect that particular question on your 4473.
One thing good about higher thc is you smoke less pot ...go alot further than the old 4 finger bag of seeds stems and dirt for 30 bucks an ounceThe marijuana available these days is not the same as it was 50 years ago . today's weed has a much higher THC % some as 30,%
As for me I am allergic to marijuana even if the person just has the smell of it on their clothing it will cause me to react to it
My reaction to it is that I get respiratory distress so
