Sometimes government employees have a diplomatic passport in addition to their personal passport. One instance of using it would be when on official travel and perhaps visiting a location where a private citizen might not normally go.

Trump would have one since as a past President - he still enjoys a considerable "envoy" status. A spokeshuman that others would look to for mutual benefit and a "normal" current administration would be wise to keep active.

"Normal" is the error in describing the current administration.

If its connected to Trump - this administration ain't having anything of it in partisan hubris.

I.e. cutting off their own nose despite a former face.

In normal times retired Presidents often represent the United States at State Funerals, Coronations, and other situations where the use of a diplomatic passport would be both appropriate and expected.

I see these stories on my MSN feed at work, and sometimes I look in the comments section. It truly baffles me.

The left is truly unhinged. They have all sorts of "Trump's Crimes" for which he deserves this treatment and conviction, none of which are logical, or address the facts on the ground. I have biases, I know it, but there is a limit, and that limit is bound by logic.

I know it's just preaching to the choir, but they will do anything, excuse anything, to "get" President Trump. They keep complaining that he keeps getting away, and not questioning that perhaps it's because he's not guilty of what he's being accused of. It boggles me.
