Deputy Federal Marshals take the safety of their charges DAMN seriously.

And starting a Civil War between DOJ and Marshals would be DISASTROUS for the DOJ folks. You take out a Judge, Marshals go WEAPONS FREE almost immediately.

The FBI raid on former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate has further divided the country, with the Left looking for an indictment and the Right for a 2024 reelection. Adding fuel to the fire, just last week New York State Attorney General Letitia James conducted a deposition of Trump related to his organization’s real estate holdings, during which he invoked the fifth amendment over 500 times. Straight Arrow News contributor Ben Weingarten argues there is a regime persecuting the former president that will not stop until he is prosecuted:
It wasn’t enough for The Regime to concoct claims of treasonous Russian collusion to spy on candidate Trump, then use a series of “investigations” to destabilize his administration and cover-up The Regime’s corruption.
It wasn’t enough for The Regime to stage not one, but two, asinine impeachments, while its bureaucrats subverted and sabotaged President Trump—halting a genuine peaceful transfer of power, and depriving us all of four full years from which we all would have more richly benefited.
It wasn’t enough for The Regime to do everything in its power to “fortify” the 2020 election against President Trump, just as it won’t be enough for The Regime to disqualify him from the 2024 ballot—in defense of “democracy” of course.
The Regime wants President Donald J. Trump arrested, shackled, and left to rot in prison for the rest of his life. That is what the Mar-a-Lago raid is all about. It far transcends the midterm elections, or the 2024 horse race. It is the latest, but the most dramatic, earth-shattering, and unprecedented attack in a string of them, led by a vengeful and bloodthirsty Ruling Class whose Deep State serves as the tip of the spear.
This raid was conducted by an agency that considers itself so untouchable that its leader deemed it acceptable to cut short a Senate oversight hearing days before the raid was set to happen, to jet off to a mountain retreat.
That’s how powerful the Deep State believes itself to be, and the contempt for which it holds not just Congress, but you, the people Congress is supposed to represent.
This raid is the first in a series of events that I believe will culminate in the attempted prosecution of Trump.

Department of Justice officials believe the FBI acted improperly by collecting materials outside of the scope stipulated in the search warrant authorization during its raid on former President Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago, according to a new report.

“For the first time we have confirmation that the FBI and the Justice Department believes it over-collected evidence when it was at Mar-a-Lago, meaning it collected evidence not covered by the search warrant,” John Solomon, editor-in-chief of Just The News, said on “Hannity” in an interview on the report.


“I have confirmed from two different sources that the Justice Department called President Trump’s defense lawyers today confirming that they did take his three passports,” Solomon said. “They are making arrangements to send it back saying they are obligated to return it it’s outside the scope of the subpoena. They have also informed Trump defense lawyers, the Justice Department has, over the last few days that there’s likely privileged materials that the FBI collected that now have to be segregated and returned to the president.

“Those privileges could be attorney-client privilege or more likely, executive privilege,” he added. “Now this is remarkable. I talked to a lot have FBI people today who told me this warrant was already remarkably broad, can basically go in and get anything that looked like a presidential record, to then collect something like a passport which most agents can recognize quickly, or privileged documents, raised concerns amongst career FBI officials.”

Well, CURRENTLY the BLUE one is for all of us peons/Citizens.
IIRC the GREEN (ok it's a DARK green) is a Diplomatic passport (USUALLY given to ex-POTUSs and other (ahem) "Special People" (like Lurch and Hilary, etc))

IIRC there are others.


And yes we are discussing US Passports. (I seem to remember a .mil one of color I-Fergit)

As Joe Hoft reported yesterday at The Gateway Pundit — The brazen raid of President Trump’s home in Florida, Mar-a-Lago, likely has its roots in the Russia collusion story with a particular focus on Peter Strzok and his affiliation with the CIA.

We reported back in May 2020 that Peter Strzok was somehow connected to the CIA. General Michael Flynn’s attorney Sidney Powell even said so on Hannity’s show on FOX News at that time.
Could Peter Strzok have worked for both the FBI and CIA, or only one entity? If that entity was the CIA, how could Peter Strzok have been fired from the FBI if he never worked for the FBI?

New details on Mar-a-Lago raid come to light
As reported earlier today — President Trump declassified a binder on January 19th, 2021 that contains hundreds of pages about the Crossfire Hurricane scandal. It contains damaging information about the corrupt actors involved with our government. Two different DOJ Attorney General’s have defied President Trump’s direct lawful order to publish the binder in the Federal Register. It’s been 19 months as the DOJ defies the order, and every FOIA request to make it public. Can we now raid the homes of acting AG Monty Wilkinson, and Merrick Garland?

The DOJ had already made redactions to protect sources & methods, and returned the binder back to the White House. But the corrupt FBI also wanted to hide names. So at the last minute, the DOJ demanded the binder comply with the 1974 Privacy Act. The Act requires any “agency” that releases records to also hide personal or identifiable name information. The DOJ knew this Act doesn’t apply to the White House, it was a stall tactic. The courts decided this 22 years ago that the Privacy Act was based around FOIA requests, and the White House is not an agency.

Hours before Trump left office on January 20th, Chief of Staff Mark Meadows gave the binder back to the DOJ, along with this memo. He asked the DOJ to make any Privacy Act redactions “out of an abundance of caution”. In the memo he asks they expeditiously release the binder when finished. Meadows foolishly expected this would take 3-4 days. It’s been 19 months and still not released. Just the News recently obtained the Meadows memo from the National Archives, who also denied having a copy of the declassified binder.

Meadows admits in interviews various agency’s often stalled or defied Trump’s orders. Meadows knew better than to rely on the DOJ to release this damaging binder after they left the White House. He should have released the binder to the public himself. But in doing so, there was a chance he would become a target of the DOJ and FBI. The memorandum below is what Mr. Meadows sent to the DOJ Attorney General on January 20th, 2021.

New details on Monday’s raid of Mar-a-Lago may offer an explanation on what the FBI was looking for and why the FBI has not released the Spygate documents as they were ordered to when President Trump left office.

Investigative reporter Paul Sperry had his Twitter account taken down for the second time on Monday.
Sperry had his first Twitter account removed after he identified Eric Ciaramella as the leaker in the first Trump impeachment trial.

Sperry had his second account takedn down on Monday after he tweeted about the Mar-a-Lago raid and what the FBI was looking for.

According to Paul Sperry, the FBI agenst spent 9 hours looking for details President Trump took with him on the Crossfire Hurricane FBI spying scandal.
The FBI and DOJ cannot let the American public know the truth of the their criminal acts and attempted coup of President Trump. So they raided his home looking for the documents that may indict the organization.

My question having never been served a warrent is not the person searched entitled to a copy of the warrent? Why can't Trump publish a copy on his own.

Trump doesn't have a copy of the affidavit.

It gives the rationale behind the warrant.

The FBI in previous search/seizures has used warrants crafted VERY MUCH OUTSIDE the rationale indicated in the affidavit. The two documents are supposed to coincide - but the FBI is free to "lie" on either document - and an astute accused CAN protest warrant discovery in court if the rationale is not followed - TO THE LETTER.
