TxGal, Our rain started around 7:30 last night and I decided to stay up til it was over. Had the computer unplugged a lot of the time when the thunder and lightning got heavy, but the wind never got as bad as we expected and the rain was totally over around 12:30, so then I went to bed.
It's chilly out today. Breeze from the north and the sun we were supposed to see has only come out for about an hour earlier this afternoon. I decided I didn't want to get wet and chilled, as I planned to scrub the old rabbit cages. So I've stayed in and gotten a nice amount of knitting done. No more good podcasts to listen to, so I'm knitting to the sound of only my own thoughts. I can't stand things like the radio constantly being on and I get an eyestrain headache from changing the distance I focus my eyes back and forth if I try to knit and watch a movie at the same time. I've neve been able to knit without looking at what I'm doing.
Anyway, I'm anxious to get the bunny room finished so I can start getting the rest of my bedding plants into the ground both outside and in the greenhouse. It's getting rather late to be planting, but with the erratic weather, I'm wondering if planting time even matters much any more.
