Not everyone has money.
Even I am waiting for another paycheck to continue rebuilding my pantry.
That said, I could stretch what I have and be okay for awhile.
Not complaining! But my cataract surgery did a number on my savings. I took a second job so that I could replenish my savings and rebuild my pantry sooner, but with prices so high, it's not an easy task.

I understand the challenges. Especially if you're relying on Medicare or insurance policies to pay, then you don't have extra money to do it yourself. Between fish ox and vet meds,. All day chemist and Traveling to Mexico I have any able to squirrel away a lot over the last 15 years. I've also convinced my doctor that the pills that he gives me that's under Medicare is not quite enough. So instead of three a day, he's giving me four a day. That extra pill is squirrel away. Meds last a very long time if they're stored properly..Unfortunately, some insurance plans do not cover more than a month of medicine at a time.
I do believe that the Lord will bring extra healing. But I don't want to rely solely on presumption.
May you find healing and meds as needed in the days ahead

Exactly. If I could get my insulin pen RX for more than 30 days, I’d have to pay for it. At $800 per month. A bit of a work around tho- Walmart Pharmacy has the little bottles of an older fast acting insulin called Novolin for $24- over the counter. Not as fast acting or as good as Novolog, but it will keep me alive. I happen to have a couple of boxes of unused syringes, just in case.Unfortunately, some insurance plans do not cover more than a month of medicine at a time.

Yes they do, you might not be given the exact day or time or the last detail of what they will do, but they do announce ahead of time quite often/all the time. Problem is, non-Arabs think in short terms as in any minute or day now, and sometimes the warning was given weeks or months in advance and ignored or forgotten about.

“All uniformed members of the service in every rank, will perform duty in the uniform of the day and be prepared for deployment,” read a Wednesday night memo sent to all NYPD members.
Cops will not be granted excusals or shift changes and the order will remain in effect “until further notice,” according to the memo.
The directive was issued after Khaled Meshaal, who served as chief of Hamas from 2004 to 2017, called on the Islamic world to stage the protests on Friday.
The NYPD is also beefing up security at all of its 77 police precincts, assigning additional cops to monitor entryways and parking areas at the station houses, according to the internal memo.
Additionally, the department activated its Joint Operations Center (JOC) at its Manhattan headquarters in anticipation of the possible mayhem.
Multiple agencies — including the Sanitation Department, Triborough Bridge & Tunnel Authority and the FDNY — will be required to alert the JOC “as soon as they become aware of any incidents related to this event” from Thursday through Sunday, the memo states.

Someone may have already said this but...maybe they're just trying to get us all worked up and scared? We've had plans to go to a quilt show on Friday and after MUCH debate have decided to go ahead and go. I'll be carrying and will even have an extra clip with me. Two hours from home but I am not going to live in fear of maybe. Besides if things do start happening here it may be the last time we get to do something like this.
