Prayers said for your son, glad he is feeling better! They can scare us to death for sure.
Thanks all- he is 14. At ER - just got checked in and fever went down to 101.5. That was after a 500mg of Tylenol at home. Multiple readings of 106f. We are super “crunchy” (Healthy foodies) and this is his first Tylenol. That’s how freaked I was. Getting checked out for bacterial fever. But after a half hour of after posting this he is alert and wanting Taco Bell and IKEA chicken…. This kid I tell ya. Power of prayer. Thank you.

Prayers for your child! That 106* fever is worrisome, even after the docs have brought it down. I saw someone mentioned west nile as a possible culprit.
