I am trying to see if I can find a rifle or brace that can fit in a 30 calibur ammo can. Part of a long term storage type deal.
The charger is too long. Not finding anything good on the ar front that does not cost an arm and a leg. I am looking at cheap here... Mainly if it fails I won't faint from replacement costs...You could disassemble an AR15 9mm with 4" barrel to fit in an ammo can or 8.5" 5.56 AR15. If .22 is enough a Ruger Charger and folding stick may fit.
It is going inside a 50 cal can. This is for vibration and environment proofing. SBR or pistol brace seem to be the main options.Consider a larger ammo can. There's not much you can cram into an ammo can that small.
I store my airsoft pulse rifle in one of those. But that will not fit where I want to store things.
I have message them to verify on the fit. Their setup would be preferable as well I prefer Glocks. Or more specifically one of the most common military arms in the world...
Beat me to it.
too long I am limited to 10"Keltec Sub2000
Or a LEO trade in G21 for a budget optionGlock model 20 pistol (10mm caliber) with a 3-4moa carry pistol red dot sight (holosun, etc.) for precise aiming at a distance. A replacement 6" barrel would boost the 10mm velocity and reduce recoil. This with a carry holster, mag carriers, extra loaded mags, and possibly a compact rail-mounted light should fit into a 30 cal ammo can.
and a g21 with a 6 inch barrel could have similar performance just not as much fps as the g20 though. Much more common and cheaper. The G20 is an everything pistol to be sure.Or a LEO trade in G21 for a budget option

When I say disassemble, I mean disassemble, not just desperate the two halves. You could leave the lower parts kits installed, leave the flash suppresor on and could reassemble with just a large pair of plyers to tighten the barren nut and castle nut and maybe an Allen wrench for the handguard. The charger is too long. Not finding anything good on the ar front that does not cost an arm and a leg. I am looking at cheap here... Mainly if it fails I won't faint from replacement costs...
That is a good idea.

This is a very good suggestion. It will break down, into 2 parts and tons of different barrels are available including the .22.Thompson center encore?
That's adorable.Solo 300

Could easily break down into an upper and lower and fit inside a .30 cal ammo can.
I have one.
