Praying right now for your son ! This is his 3rd time with the virus?
Yes, the first time we got it, it was 'just a virus that needs to run its course' in Feb 2020.

The second time we got it, oldest son's friend got his first vax in July 2021. Back story to this is, my son was off work helping with chores for 3 days before he left home, the boys got together to play Magic the Gathering and the source friend chose his day off to get vaxxed. My son got it mildly and another friend almost died.

And now the youngest son's fully vaxxed friend has gifted us with it.

I changed my vote because my DH and son are now fine.
mom and I still in hospital. We are improving.
Good to see you posting Breeta, continuing to pray for you and your mom, and all those on this thread suffering with, or who have family members suffering with, this awful bio weapon.

The two family members who had Covid back in Sept got it again, both not only vaxxed (they were back in Sept too) but also had gotten the booster even though they had natural immunity. And still got Omicron. Mostly mild case, one lingered for a little longer than the other but both fine. Two of their grown sons got it too. One triple vaxxed, on double vaxxed who has now decided to forego their booster since they got the virus last week. Interesting the double vaxxed is the one who got the fever and had it the worst of the four of them (but all at a minimum double vaxxed, and two double vaxxed and had Delta).

DW just tested pos for Covid, caught it while at work (dental office). No symptoms yet for me (have already had 2 vax shots, no booster). But a question please. What's the bottom-line consensus, if there is one: SAMBUCOL or NOT for possible pre-symptomatic Covid? I.e. to lessen effects if I do have it but hasn't manifested yet. (We also have several other things on hand just in case, prescription level liquid vitamin D, etc)

We've used it... I use elderberry syrup daily, and despite close contact with many COVID patients, I've never had any symptoms. I was taking it twice a day when hubby had COVID, or when exposed to a family who had asked for help. But I'm type O blood, and I don't know if that means anything or not!

Thanks. I think I'll be taking it (got a whole bunch at Walgreens back in 2020 & still even have some tincture left from ages ago!). I'll supplement it with Vit D, Zinc etc. You know, the more I follow news about this stuff, I less I think the "experts" actually know about it, starting with where it came from (which is itself a scandal).

Praying for healing for all of you!! May God soon bring to justice, everyone who had a hand in creating/spreading this virus, and "vaccine", and may we see it with our eyes, in our day!
At this point I’d just settle for the truth.
Any truth for the “who and what” would be fine, but if God sees for to also include any retribution well, that’s fine too.
I’m just so weary of it all.

This is unbelievable but after a negative test, the ER doctor said my CT scan was 'splotchy' and wanted another covid test and had the lab test it... and it came back positive. I spent over 12 hours in the ER, now home on oxygen and have to go back tomorrow to get the monoclonal antibodies because they ran out. The doctor also told me that if he admitted me, he wouldn't be allowed to give me the antibodies, I can only get that treatment as an outpatient. It's the new government regulation. Wonderful. If the damn politicians would stay out of this, the medicine would be available to anyone.

Keep that in mind in case you get it, check the regulations before letting them admit you in the hospital. And as weak as I am, I think I could still kick the hell out of Fauci.

I was actually going to suggest you get retested. I'm sorry it came back positive but it sounds like the ER doctor you have is really on the ball and is doing the best he can for you by 1) retesting and 2) giving you the best strategy for getting the antibody treatment. The FDA pulled two of them, maybe your hospital is using the one not pulled. Will add my prayers for you that the antibodies do the trick and that you are on the mend quickly.

Youre back on the prayer list, Wiley.

I have an acquaintance in CA with covid. He said a nurse came to his home to give him the monoclonal antibodies by IV. He’s not very old, maybe 55, so not of the typical age when much older folks get home care. FWIW. It surprised me.

Thank you and to everyone for the prayers, most appreciated. I talked to my doctor today, he couldn't get the monoclonal antibodies for me and offered to see if he could me some ivermectin, told him I had my own supply lol. That's why we prep so we'll have when we need it.

According to our little newspaper, Virginia Tech has some kind of covid numbers model. It's showing a large decrease in cases and actually predicts the end of the surge to be February 6th. I don't know how they can pinpoint it down to a date, but I'm praying that it's true.

No need to troubleshoot it. I’ll tell you the issue. Oxygen concentrators only output “therapeutic” oxygen levels at the lowest setting, usually 1 lpm. (That’s a 90% O2 level.) As you increase the flow, the O2 concentration drops about 10% per lpm increase. So, at 2 lpm, you get 80%, at 3 lpm you get 70%, at 4 lpm you get 60%, and at 5 lpm you get 50%. I had to dig around the Web for hours to confirm it.

O2 systems at hospitals provide 100% O2 at any flow volume.

There, I just saved you a bunch of time.

You’re welcome. And prayers for her recovery.
