My husband & I both have covid for the first time. He was given a random test at work on Wednesday, it was negative. Thursday he felt sick and called in. Friday he was getting worse and tested positive. Today I tested positive.

You know, my story is similar. I had to go to the doc back in September. I wanted an ultrasound done, and my NP said that she wouldn't order it unless I got a test done first. (I've fired her since) I had no symptoms and I tested negative.
2 days later hubby and I both get symptoms, and we test positive. And, I've heard of other people being tested for one reason or another, while they had no symptoms, and tested negative, only to come down with the rona a day or two later.

I'm getting mighty suspicious of the "test".

I wouldn't put it past these SOBs to be spreading it deliberately.

I didn't add myself yet, I haven't been tested. Been sick since Wednesday night. Bad headache for 2 days, low grade fever, scratchy throat, feeling weak and sleeping a lot. Developed into a phlegmy cough not bad though. No breathing problems. I've been doing the supplement and Ivermectin protocol. Either it has worked really well or else I have the Omicron variant. Edited to add 2, Dh and I both did the home test and it's positive for both of us. His symptoms have been very mild except phlegmy cough.

I'm on day 4 or 5 and think it's finally leaving my system . The fatigue was bad but the worst bit was the body aches . Feels like someone took a baseball bat to everything from the neck down. Woke up very achy again but it's getting better as the day goes on.

Dh says he's all better and our little boy seems to be mostly good too.

Prayers to everyone for quick healing .

Cary and I are on day 5, and no signs of things letting up other than my cough has slacked off a bit. My stomach muscles are so sore from all the hard coughing. The body ache all over is unreal. My legs almost gave way with me this morning on my way to the bathroom to throw up. Weakness and fatigue is really bad. Cary still can't talk, because his throat is too sore. His cough is worse, today, but O2 is still good. We both still have the head and chest congestion, headaches, runny nose, nausea, etc. Hopefully, just a couple of more days of this, and we'll be on the mend.

DS and DIL are already on the mend, but not 100%, yet.

Thank you for the details. Thats what I need to know. I have not had it yet and the symptoms seem to be all over the place when people tell their symptoms. It helps to know these things. Praying for you both, Feel better.

I don't trust it. My daughter bought home tests for them when her husband got sick first. They did put up their nose, but their little girl they got nasal secretions out with a tissue and put the swab on that and she tested positive, so I think if you get enough on the tissue you do not have to put this up your nose.

I tested positive on Christmas Eve. A few days of a 100 ish fever, body aches, terrible headache, cough and congestion. Most of that is gone now, but the exhaustion is no joke. Doing anything at all wears me out. Supposed to go back to work tomorrow. Wonder if they will mind if I take a nap at my desk

I stopped by a CVS pharmacy today and got tested. No idea what the result will be. Those who’ve read my thread in the BC know that I’ve had symptoms, but they’ve been mild. I should have the results in a day or so. The symptoms have been bearable, except for the fatigue. I’ve just wanted to sleep for the past 4 days. Just getting out of bed to care for the pups has been so draining to me. I hope I get by energy back soon.

Parents are fever free for two days so I took them off. Adjusted my vote. So far it just feels like the flu. Best way to describe it. Chills, fever, cough, aches, tummy upset. and headache. The first night I hurt so bad even a breeze on my skin hurt.

That is what I noticed too, the skin sensitivity. I was almost in tears after taking a shower and drying off. Then crawling into bed, the sheets on my skin hurt so much.

I finally removed two, my wife and I are back up and moving, at first I thought this was no big deal and then it laid us out, energy dropped to nothing, fever for several days, pumping Ivermectin, Vit D and Zinc stopped it from getting worse. The headaches and congestion came a few days later but not to bad to manage, it was the cloudy head, unable to think and loss of energy that took us down. We are both functioning again and eating somewhat regular meals instead of what we could find that was fast and easy. If you come down with this, do your self a favor and hit it hard and fast with whatever you are using. I hope and pray everyone else makes a speedy recovery. Oh and one more thing, I have no hearing in my left ear, I suppose from congestion in my head.

We did Christmas with our grown kids + little grandkids; dh & I were careful including masks. Youngest son tested positive on the 29th. That same day I babysat the grands, grandson was sick. I called dd to come relieve me because I was so tired; turns out I had a fever & have been sick since. Son says he's better now, the rest seem fine. Both dd's tested negative as of the 31st (required by job) & no one has symptoms. Grandson who was sick wasn't tested; they figure since they're all vaxxed & boosted everything is fine.

I was tested today & should get results this week. No home tests available in town; chose not to pay $80 for rapid test. I've been *very* tired, on & off mild cold/flu symptoms & low fever, no loss of taste or smell, O2 is normal. I've been taking the FLCCC protocol, plus a ton of other stuff including Xlear & nebulizing hydrogen peroxide. Have been taking most of it since April 2020 when I most likely had COVID (tests inaccurate the & given too late) which reactivated Epstein-Barr virus. You would think nothing could get me with all the stuff I take, but the EBV causes me to never feel totally well anymore, so who knows? DH is fine.

So 0 right now because son is recovered.

Cary and I are on the mend. No fever for the past two days. Cary's throat is well enough for him to talk again. I'm still having a bit of nausea, but I'm not throwing up anymore. The headaches still come and go, and the sinus congestion is still with us. It's not as bad as it was in the beginning. Our taste hasn't come back, yet. Not really hungry for anything. The body ache is pretty much gone, just really sore from coughing so hard. The weakness and fatigue is unreal!

In spite of the weakness and fatigue wiping us out, we both have been up and about around in the house, today. Not doing much, just trying to include a little activity as we feel up to it.

Just found our my granddaughter and her husband in Tennessee both have covid. And just today we lost my niece-in-law who has been in the hospital for a little over a month.
I'm so sorry . This is all so horrible.

I was feeling a little better yesterday but bad again today . Exhausted , mild nausea and no appetite . Sense of smell still gone. Still pumping the supplements and herbal tea.

Even took a small dab of ivermectin , though honestly I don't think it did me much good when I took it during the onset of symptoms last week. Just throwing everything at it at this point . Tomorrow will be day 7 and I'm ready to be done. House is a mess and my family hasn't had a decent meal in days.

Just glad not to be in the hospital. My immune system is working. Trying to stay positive. dh and 6 year old seem to be basically back to normal . I removed 2 from the count.

Prayers to all who are fighting the sickies.

Stupid question time:
Is there a means to adjust / reflect the number of infected people here on TB2K that have recovered or passed due to covid? Are we just counting the total folks that have been infected or active infections? Just curious.

I simply ask that as people get infected/get over it, they adjust their vote accordingly. It's the honor system.

Day 7.

Feeling slightly better , had enough energy for a shower this morning . Still no appetite , have lost 7lbs so far, about a pound a day. Making myself eat toast and oatmeal. Whatever I eat goes right through me. Keeping up on the supplements and ivermectin . Trying kombucha for my gut flora. Still getting morning sweats but not running a fever .

Dh is still a little off but he had to go back to work. He's had diareah with this too. No sense of smell for either one of us, and things taste weird .

Kids are doing ok.

I hope to be able to fix dinner tonight and maybe get some housework done . We'll see

I had the stomach issues also. DH not too much. I found that forcing myself to eat a half sweet potato each day helped with that tremendously. YMMV.

D-i-l tested positive today. She lives in senior complex where Covid is doing a second run through. Good number had it before vax was available. Now it is going through a second time and most everyone (including d-i-l) are 100% vaxed. The handyman came down with it about 8 days ago and now at least 3 besides d-i-l are positive. I'm very concerned because d-i-l has a boatload of preexisting conditions. I'm supposed to attend a Bible study there tomorrow and can definitely state that is not going to happen. Don't know what variant d-i-l has.
