resistance is futile. you will be assimilated.

my a$$.

I lived in Hope, AR when Bill Clinton was elected. They proudly put a sign on the interstate proclaiming Hope as his birthplace and everyone claimed to have voted for him. Within a year or two, you couldn't find one person to admit that they had voted for him and the sign was constantly being replaced after well-placed shotgun blasts would make it unreadable.

Those days are coming for Obamalamadingdong. The only difference is, that most people won't have guns by the time they figure out what he's up to, and won't be able to blast his sign... If I am wrong about Obama, it will be the worst mistake in judgement that I have ever made, bar none. I don't see that happening, though.

I agree with this.

I'm not mad, or sad, or anything like that. I do regret that those who voted incorrectly on Tuesday were unable to appreciate the meaning of my message, which was that they will not be immune to Obama's pledge to raise taxes, and that no help with gasoline bills or mortgage payments will be forthcoming from "The One."

I know that a majority of voters on Tuesday weren't looking where they put their feet that night, and while they were stumbling around in a drunken stupor, they inadvertently stepped in a freshly laid pile of Obama. However, as of right now, they haven't noticed it yet, probably because they're still drunk. Regrettably, his supporters probably won't notice it for a year and a half or so, until around April, 2010, when they're filling out their 2009 Forms 1040, when they'll notice that they, too, are being taxed as if they bring home six-figure salaries, even though their actual disposable income for the year was more in the 5-figure range.

All across America, Obama supporters will look up from their desks, bolting upright in their chairs, because they detect a foul, offensive odor. "I smell...Obama!" they'll exclaim. They will cast wildly about, looking for the source of the noxious aroma, and after some searching, they will finally look at the soles of their shoes, and only then detect the culprit.

"I've got Obama all over my shoes!" they'll cry. "I've stepped in Obama, and got it all over my shoes! And I've walked all over my house! My carpets are ruined! And now I know why I don't have any more friends! They've been avoiding me because I've had Obama on my shoes all this time, and I've been offending them with the stench! Why, oh why didn't somebody tell me not to step in the Obama?"

As it happens, of course, there were many such people, such as your Humble Hand and others, standing nearby prior to the election, pointing out this big pile of Obama, and warning passersby: "Hey! See that big pile of Obama over there? Watch out! Don't step in it, or it'll get all over your shoes and it will smell bad."

But the Obama supporters, not wanting to interrupt their besotten revelry, paid no heed to those pointing out the hazard on the ground. They trudged bravely on through the big pile of Obama, as if they didn't care what happened after they did.

Hey...we tried to warn them. But they wouldn't listen. :shr:

Most here aren't even past the hysteria yet, let alone the anger.

Give it a year of two.

Or longer.

I think anger can be a good thing if people use it to focus what they believe in.

Undirected anger usually comes back and slaps you in the ass.

So very true! Focus, plan, and if necessary, act. Using logic and using your anger properly, at the right time, will and can be extremely useful.
