I even answered the phone and didn't know who was on the other end, when I did.I wouldn't do that on a bet now, cuz it would put me on a list, of Car Warranty sellers.
It was also easier to walk across the ally to talk to my bud, instead of waiting endlessly for his sister to hang up.
I didn't know my area code, but did know my folks number started with TR2.
I did find out what my area code was when I tried to call years later.
They use to give away books with people's number in them.
Today I don't even know how to find anyone's number.
When people today ask me what my number is, I reply with I don't know, I never call my number. When they ask me what my wife's number is I say 1.

Story:
I was over at a friends house and they told me SB was available and I ought to call her. After hem hawing around I finally did. This old guy answered the phone, so I was nice to him and talked for about 30 minutes. Then I finally got around to asking if I could talk to SB. He said no one lives here by that name, bye.
I was totally embarrassed and would never do that again. They kept agging me on, so I did. Got SB this time, we talked for a while and I asked her out on a date (she knew who I was) and she said she already had one, bye.
After being totally embarrassed again, and saying I would NEVER do that again. I called her again early in the week this time.
We've been dating ever since.

I'll be headed out to vacation tomorrow but before I do I would like to extend a pre-Father's Day tip for all male TB2kers.
We wives all know ties are "out," so what you will get this Father's Day bring you? More than likely, "Home Depot" and "Lowes" cards, so here are some GREAT ideas of what you can do with them!!!

Kids, this is what your grandma looked like in the 70’s:
Bed space has to do with legs. You have two legs. If you have one dog, he has four. Thus, he gets 2/3 of the bed to your 1/3. If you have two dogs, that’s 8 legs to your two, so they get 3/4 of the bed to your 1/4. You can extrapolate from there.
