I just registered but I do want ya'all to know that the cookie house in my picture is NOT what you'll get should you evacuate my way. Don't laugh. Ya never know. The whole upper North may experience multiple Volcanos, Earthquake, Fire Storms, and a Glacial Age at the same time so the only place to go IS South Louisiana!!

I registered last night, and saw myself on the map.

Today, I'm gone, and next to my name is (Remove Me)...

Duh....I needed more coffee.....I get it now!

Nevermind!

Sheesh! I thought nobody liked the idea of a map before? :shr: Oh well, I joined. Looks like I'm the only one defending the north. (better start growing my nails into claws)

Thanks Dennis for starting one!

theoutlands Ok - I registered, but have no idea how accurate the map is, since I CAN'T SEE IT!! I guess this puter I'm having to use is too antiquated to display it properly
...

Me too.
Could someone post a picture of the map here? That may not be possible?

Im in! No one on the New Madrid Faultline?? very wierd.....

I'm just south of it (Memphis). One bad quake and we become part of Arkansas or float down the river to New Orleans!

Is it just me, or are there few to no preppers living in the areas where all the icbms are and would be huge targets in a nuke war?

The map shown above only shows the first 50 of (now) 149 registered markers. When the map first displays, it only shows 50 markers. Just to the bottom left of the map on the site, you can add more registered markers up to the total registered (again, 149) as of right now. The only states I see not represented are N. and S. Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Hawaii, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, R.I., and (surprisingly) Kentucky.

Well, to tell the truth, even if is a huge caldera, I wouldn't mind living near Yellowstone at all..went there once when I was sixteen..gorgeous place!

aren't most of the nuke sites in n. and s. Dakota and Kansas?

I think so but I think there are some here in Montana as well. Check out the middle of that map. WOW!

Kate! If yellowstone goes and I am able to travel I think the best way for me to go is north due to the jet stream and I would not want to go west. West would put me closer to the park.

Don't worry I'll call you first. ;)

Interesting site there...

I am in the middle of a triangle..one one side, muskogee, on another, ft. smith, and on another the weapons army depot at mcalester..

centered right in the middle..but the downwind from fallout map doesn't look bad at least..what a chipper thot..

Are you using AOL? I could not see the map either so switched to a different server ( safari) Netscape would also work, and the map came up fine.

Well I added Cgtech and me, it would only let me put Charlottetown for the city, which is where Cgtech works (actually all over the Island but he's based there). It let me move the marker to our actual location though.

Well, I'm added in

There are more of us down in this corner of the country than I thought!

could be a good way to develop support gulches.

If you are reluctant to put yer name here..there is one on the bomb shelter thread..isn't it only the main area here that is open to everyone, but the bomb shelter thread that you have to be a registered member to see?

I did the "forget your password" thing, but I am not receiving the password e-mail from frappr.com.

Wassup wit dat?

They should have emailed you a password.
I got mine sent to me when I signed up on CFI's board.
