Thank you Kathy. And Happy Birthday to your middle one. I know how you feel, it's hard to believe our baby is almost 23. And the oldest is 36. Wowzy. I don't know how that happened.

Kaij ... I have it on good authority what you have is a baby Gamera. It grows up to be this fella here .....

Maybe she is on Spring Break and will come back next week refreshed, rested and tanned from lounging at the beach while cabana boys cater to her every whim.

Dang! I'm wondering if Cochran ever catches up with DeeDee and there is a happily ever after? Will Sarge show up soon? What did the patrol find that made them late or what found them? Did DeeDee get left behind in a pickup operation? What will she do if no one else shows up? Kathy you put together some interesting characters and scenarios. Would not mind a few more recipes either. ;)

Guys I am going nuts with my schedule for the last little bit. I am really sorry but it is important to our business/income. Hubby and I were asked by some very locally influential people to be on a community action board for one of the areas where we have rental units. We are the only property owners/landlords on the board and it is requiring more work than either of us anticipated. But it is also providing some much needed info for us as well as a conduit to other people/opportunities that will, in the long run, benefit us as well as other property owners and landlords that we are representing.

I am still working on all of the stories but not near as quickly as I could before. I have an older story that is complete that I am going to post for the next week, week and a half, to hopefully give me some breathing room and allow me to get ahead once again so I can move forward. It is called Larkspur in Eden and is another one of the "dystopian future" kind of things like Fel was.

Thanks for touching base with us Kathy. Makes us feel like we are 'in the loop' a bit. We are sorry that real life is such a burden but realize that it smacks us all once in a while. Your absence is just more noticeable because we are waiting for your wonderful stories to continue to unroll for us. Looking forward to the new (old) story. And I may also have to go back and read "This is me surviving" for the ninth time. Always find something good in that story every time I re-read it.

Glad to hear you're just busy and nothing worse.

While I really appreciate new stories I sure wish you could finish stories such as Gurl. That is one of my favorite of your's.
