I hadn't seen that particular one before, but I've seen others. Nothing quite that elaborate, though. Truly a work of art!

I've been sewing since home ec. in high school. There is no way I would even attempt something like that. I'm just not that talented.

Same here! I've made formal gowns, a suit coat, etc... but that is incredible!
I just realized I can't show the video to my 2 year old granddaughter... she'll want me to make her one! I've never seen a little girl more fascinated with fashion! Meanwhile, her mom and I are looking at each other and asking, "where did THAT come from?!"... we throw on jeans and work boots and call it good!

I have a daughter like that! I was a tomboy, and to this day it's jeans and a t-shirt, usually half worn-out, and I'm good. Oldest daughter pretty much ditto, although she tends to be a little more flamboyant than I am. Middle daughter? Miss Priss from the day she was born! When she was about eighteen months old, we were at my mom's place, and stood her up on the piano stool (one of the round ones that spins) so we could pin the hem on a long dress one of us was making for her (I think Mom was making it -- I didn't have much time for sewing with two toddlers and another one on the way). She was so pleased, and posed like a little princess! She's always hated to get dirty (when we were working in the garden, she'd get sent in to fix lunch). And she's always managed to look sharp and well turned out, even in thrift store clothes.

But she's as sweet as they come, loves the Lord with all her heart, she's wonderful and special and I love her to pieces. She's just not a farm girl, LOL! And I look at her and wonder where that came from!

And not one class with Corset Academy. This gal has promise. The silver part of the dress was chosen correctly, as the butterfly really does have a metallic silver outline on some of the pattern. This needed to be filmed in slow motion to capture the look on the girls face as the dress unfurled. Great vid!
