I've said for years that women should never have been given the vote. The vast majority of them vote with their feelings and not their intellect. There are a few, like myself, who do a lot of research on each candidate and issue, but we are few and far between.
Now, I do believe in some women's lib issues, such as equal pay for equal work, that's just common sense. But women can't do everything a man does, and when she can, it's usually only the end result that's the same, we think differently, we are not physically as strong, we are slaves to our hormones so our method of accomplishment is different. Vive la difference! I don't want to be a man, I don't want to be like a man, I appreciate and admire the differences between us.
Women are decieving themselves if they think they are equals with men, we can no more be equals with them than they can be with us. We are complimentary, not equal.
Of the handful of Bill Clinton voters I met, they were all women, though one said her husband voted for him, which is why SHE did (brilliant), one said she voted for him because she thought he was "cute". Stellar use of a ballot there. Another one said she voted for him because she thought she would get more welfare money. At least she was mercenary enough to think ahead. Not one could tell me what his platform was.
My BF and I watched part of the acceptance speech OB gave and easily 90% of the audience was comprised of white women age 18-35, a few black women and even fewer black men. Perhaps that is all the cameras focused on, but it sure looked like the crowd was mostly white women. I'm ashamed for them.
Very good Flipper - I know some men who's vote I would like to remove and give to you and other women who can see so clearly.
