original story this is from:
I honestly thought we would have flying cars in 1978 by 2000. Thought it was a done deal. We lived for a year in some apartments in ElDorado hills next to a golf course, lake and airport. Even back then the wealthy could taxi their small planes from the airport to their private garage/hangers. Then drive their golf cars to the green or boat ramps. The area was called Cameron Park IIRC.Flying cars? I know trump is loose with ideas but I doubt he said that.
Get Congress to pass term limits on members of Congress???!!!
Good luck with this one!!
That doesn’t stop democrats.First time hearing about any of this and some of it I'm not sure about, like some of it being beyond the authority of the executive office.
Sitting by sister-in-law's pool, facing Spruce Creek Airpark, a similar airfield/golf course/development complex. Watched somebody playing around with a P-51 Mustang this morning. Sounded soooo good.I honestly thought we would have flying cars in 1978 by 2000. Thought it was a done deal. I would absolutely kill just to go for a ride in one much put my hands on the controls.P-51 Mustang
Instead of the flying cars, I always thought hydrogen fuel cells was the way to go!
Same here for both. But my gas station credit card couldn't support fuel enough for either to get off the ground. It takes cubic dollars to fuel an F-4 and with the EPA cracking down on ultra-high octane AVGAS over the lead the P-51 might cost more per gallon than the F-4.I would absolutely kill just to go for a ride in one much put my hands on the controls.
But then, I feel the same way about the F4 Phantom II. Favorite prop plane, favorite jet of all that's ever been built.
No kidding. I have a cousin that flew F4E's back in the '70's. The rat bastard. My envy for him is completely off the 'envy chart'.It takes cubic dollars to fuel an F-4
Just need a hydrogen mine.Instead of the flying cars, I always thought hydrogen fuel cells was the way to go!
Just need a hydrogen mine.
Just need to distill the impurities out of it. You know, oxygen....isn't that a pond?
