I'd love to buy some. The stoppers are the cost and a place to store it. I will say we've actually compared these prices to doing freeze drying ourselves, and by the time the freeze drying machine is bought, the supplies needed to make it work, the time it takes to do all of this plus the food procurement to freeze dry, this advertised product is a hell of a lot cheaper than doing it yourself. Unless of course all you have to do all day long, all week long, all month long is make your own food (gardening/raising animals) and then operating the freeze dryer.
We've tried the Mountain House stuff sold in sporting goods stores, and it is good. Which brings to light another issue in doing a home operation, which is quality control. Imagine spending the hundreds or thousands of dollars for a DIY operation just to make something so pukey you can't eat it or worse yet gets you sick.
