High in chlorophyll, promotes oxygen uptake, increases pH, supposedly good mineral supplement. I see no harm if you don't mind taking a little pond scum. I use a product called Green Magma for similar reasons...plus its a good gut conditioner. I can't think of any reason to be cautious about it other that a need to know its source...ponds get all kinds of junk falling into them. BG

Also high in vegetable protein and really better than most multivitamin products on the ucurrent market for minerals.

Thanks for the info. I probably should have given a little more info, but I was posting from work and wanted to keep it short.

My friend, who is also my boss, swears this stuff helps him stay thin. I read about it a little and couldn't see why it would, but it sounds like it's pretty healthy and he says it's inexpensive so I figured why not?

Of course inexpensive to a guy with no kids and two six figure incomes (his and his wife's) probably differs from mine a little. (A great wife, seven kids and two not-even-close to six figure incomes - both mine.)

Anyway, can anyone suggest a source for this wonderful pond scum?

If it doesn't work out we can always us it for a homeschool science project. Kind of a do-it-yourself pond kit.

I would assume most any health food/supplement store would carry it. It may help you boss stal slim cause it give him so much energy he exercises it off/ plays harder/ burns up energy with physical activity.
