PLAY Website Facilitates Republicans' Apologies to Rush Limbaugh

Even if you’re a Republican, you gotta admit it’s pretty funny.

Talking about the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s new site I’mSorryRush.com

Predictable

The site is making light of what seems to be a pattern. You know, a Republican leader criticizes radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh and then begs forgiveness.

Hey, Obama chief of staff Rahm Emaneul said as much this past Sunday.

“Whenever a Republican criticizes Limbaugh, they have to run back and apologize to him and say they were misunderstood,” Emanuel said on Face the Nation.

Ballet

Then, as if on cue, GOP Chair Michael Steele - who criticized Rush the night before - apologized to Limbaugh. We told you about it earlier this week. In fact, we created a ballet out of it.

And who wouldn’t want to see Rush Limbaugh and Michael Steele in a ballet directed by Rahm Emanuel. Come on.

It works

Anyway, this website - unlike a lot of the quick drive-by sites set up during the 2008 campaign - is actually funny.

It allows you to customize an apology letter to Limbaugh. You have the option then of signing it as Georgia Congressman Phil Gingery (who apologized to Rush for calling him a brick-thrower), South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford (who apologized to Rush for “not” calling him an idiot), and GOP Chief Michael Steele (who apologized to Rush for calling him incendiary and ugly).

There’s more

The creators of the site take an extra shot by allowing you to sign it as Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor.

What’s that? Cantor hasn’t apologized?

“Coming Soon,” says the web site.

[FONT=Verdana,Arial]Michael Steele has got to go.........another idiot doomed to fail.

Too bad Howard Dean wouldn't work for the RNC!

We could have had Romney and Palin and Gingrich instead of OBama, Bidden and Pelosi

I so agree with you. 'Til now, I thought it was just me. He's nothing but a token. And not a good one. If Repubs are going for tokens, they should stick with women.

If they wanted a token.. they should have gone with JC Watts.. instead they went fell back on a Moderate... seems the only Republicans with a pair these days are on the radio... The GOP is pretty much dead... they haven't put forth a Conservative since Reagan's second term... The Bush family are are moderates... Dole was a Moderate as well...

The GOP is too busy trying to "fit in" with the "mainstream" rather than putting forth someone who represents the "silent" majority...

Here's a clue GOP, the Silent Majority recently spoke out.. if we want to get along with the Left, we'll just elect a leftist... So put up an alternative worth a sh!t in 2012 if we're all still here...

I dont think they can or will,

Its time to figure out how to legalize the Libertarian Party in North Carolina.

They are legal here in NC.. I have voted for Libertarians when they have been on the ballot... there simply isn't enough of us here to make a dent...

NC likes a Democrat run State and occasionally a GOP Senator or two....

There is little to no difference between contemporary Democrats or Republicans. The Bush and Dole families are no more conservative, or moderate than was Chairmain Mao. They are all elite globalists. An easy way to figure out who the bad guys are: who you see in the MSM or any television program. Even if they pretend to put them in a negative light, they are just playing bad cop to help the real bad guys look better in comparison.

How often do you see Ron Paul? Even when he was running for president, you rarely if ever saw him mentioned in any MSM format, even in passing.

Rule of thumb: They are all dirty.
