It did not really matter who was elected. We are a Nation of Idiots.
For how people in this Great Country of ours have sold America
out for a pot of soup from the NW Corporate Order!

Sieg Hiel Sieg Hiel - Sieg Hiel Bush!

Personally, I don't really appreciate being called an idiot. This kind of attitude is why the Democrats lost the presidential election, IMO, and why the Democratic party is going to be more and more marginalized.

I think AO was being sarcastic (in fact, I'm sure of it!).

AO, I am biting my tongue and will not make the obvious response to your comment above that included my name!

The end times are here.
I'm not sure that I would use the term idiots. Maybe we are too trusting. Maybe naive.

Look at the problems with the Patriot Act, which was passed without the House being able to read the final version that was passed. Other questionable legislation made it to the Presidents desk and was signed. Not good.

Look at the cabinet filled with former Monsanto employees. Not good.

Peaceful protestors at Bush campaign stops were treated like criminals for exercising their right to free speech. Not good.

Do the elections matter when both candidates are members of the same secret society (Skull and Bones).

Are the elections fixed? Are we really electing the Presidents or are we duped into thinking that we are, when powerful corporations and others make the choice for us? The following web sites would seem to provide some very compelling evidence.

http://www.votescam.com/home1.php

http://www.blackboxvoting.org/

It would be nice to believe that everything is on the up and up, but in my opinion, it's not. Lone Eagle Woman is frustrated, with reason to be so. The words chosen to express that frustration may not sit well with some, but the country is in trouble, IMO.

As for being a nation of Idiots. Think about it how we bow before our leaders
and think that they are so saintly while they lead this country away from how
this country was founded. How so many are taken in by the fear of terrorists
and forget that the biggest terrorists are those in Washington by either the
Democrat or the Republican Party. Yes we are in so many ways such Idiots
if we the American people cannot see that this Two Party System is just
a screen to fool us the Sheeple when in reality it is just one two headed monster.

What about the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act, I have heard from
sooooo many Republicans that this is NECESSARY to protect us from Terrorists!
All those that subscribe to that are traitors against the Constitution and what
this country was founded on. How many people have died so that we might
have these freedoms in this day and age. Then how many Americans in today's
world will give up those freedoms for some so called False Security and the
NW Corporate Order. If that is the way we are, giving up our Constitutional
Freedoms for just some False Security then we are Idiots and such Dumb
Sheeple, bleating that we might just have that next tax cut that we might have
another fancy toy. Instead of being the responsible individuals we should be
in this day and age protecting our Constitution and Our Freedoms from ALL
ENEMIES including so many of the NW CORPORATE ORDER Enemies in our
own government. So Sad!

Now personally since Bush has been reelected, how many more freedoms will
he take away. His platform was to make the Patriot Act Permanent! That
is being a Traitor against the Constitution in my book! So Sad! And how few
people see this. Just maybe maybe we are in so many ways a Nation of Idiots -
willing to give up our freedoms for some NW Corporate Order Porage. So Sad!

O well! As for me am starting to make preparing to leave society and go live
in the Deep Wilds Permanently! Some of you might welcome this. Do personally
sense and feel that the coming days are NOT Good.

You might disagree with me now on this but watch out. We very well might
NOT be here in four years from now after the Thermonuclear War has
made this planet a piece of charcoal spinning in space.

Beg to pardon, but in actuality it was made perfectly clear by this morning that we are indeed not a nation of idiots. They all just thought we were.

I love it when I hear people rant and rave about this country, not! . Go find someplace else.

Maybe Kerry was NOT perfect but at LEAST he was willing to point out in the
campaign that the Patriot Act was Unconstitutional and willing to amend it.
Just one small point.

And it was so sad in just howwww many people did not even think or consider
the Libertarian Party. We had a choice and we choose to live in a Police State
because of the fear of the Bogeyman Terrorist while the real Terrorist are those
politicians in Washington.

I don't think GW or the Republican party are saints. What I do think is that I don't want to live in a Communist nation under UN rule, which is where Kerry would have been heading. I also don't want to live under a leader who our Vietnam vets consider as big a traitor as Jane Fonda.

own government. So Sad! We are agreed about the Patriot Act and the Homeland Security Act. Neither are good, neither will protect us from terrorists. I didn't hear anything from Kerry, though, that made me think he would do any better at dealing with the terrorist problem, and in fact, I really don't think that the terrorists are the biggest problem we have as a nation.

So Sad! There are a lot of Republicans on this board, and I think very few of them are interested in NWO porridge! In fact, I am totally against the NWO, and for national sovereignty. But, was Kerry a better option than Bush? I don't think so. He would have sold us out totally to be under UN control. There is also some thought that he may himself be a Russian agent (see The Final Phase forum) in their long-term covert plan to destroy the United States.

O well! As for me am starting to make preparing to leave society and go live
in the Deep Wilds Permanently! Some of you might welcome this. Do personally
sense and feel that the coming days are NOT Good. I wish you well. Maybe someday we'll run into one another out there. I don't plan to BO to the wilderness unless I have to, but there are situations that would make it happen.

I hope you are wrong, and from what I know of the prophecies in the Bible, I think you are. Times can only get worse, but total nuclear war, if it happens at all, will probably only come right before Jesus Christ returns to rule on the earth.

If you listen very carefully,

you are likely to hear the sound of brown paper bags rapidly inflating and deflating.

Assuming you are a cognitive adult, then you have two choices:

1. Stay and fight (nicely, I hope) for what you believe.
2. Leave and don't come back until someone else successfully exercises option #1.

Please note that bitching, whining and complaining is not one of the above options. You simply dilute your message and generally annoy those of us who are cognitive adults.

I agree lone eagle. The terrorists have been waiting for this.
Now we have a leader who can do what ever he wants. Watch our freedom go down the drain. We're getting ready to pack in for the storm ahead. It's going to be a big one.
What have we done to this country?

Kathleen, also consider by this election of what scares me the most is how now
the Republicans in bothe the House of Representatives and the Senate have
now increased. And I heard that they will be more aggressively in passing thru
their agenda. I had wished that somewhere in the branches of our government
that their would be a Check and a Balance. But now their is none. So just
how easy will it be for them to pass Patriot Act II and any other hideous
legislation since they are all Republicans. One party all branches of Government
sound alot like a Dictatorship to me. if it was Kerry then there still would of
been the Republican majority in the House and Senate to check him. Now
their is none! So Sad!

Now with the prophecies, have thought on the many Indigenous Prophecies.
But I will point out that there have been several christian visions and prophecies
that mentioned that the Nuclear WWIII would happen under the
administration of GW Bush. I was just hoping that if it was Kerry instead of
Bush, that we maybe would be on another timeline and someone follow
the path of Peace instead of the path to our destruction (Anishnabe Prophecy).

You might have some hope and faith in your heart on the days to come
but All Hope is now gone for me. So will prepare to live and wander in the
wilds for the few days that I can. Just Enjoy Life while I can! Just my point
of view. If somehow we are still here in like 10 years or so, might come back.
But I very very very seriously doubt it. All that will be left will be the ruins of our
once Great Society and our bones bleaching the sand.

Creator Bless!

I'm sure if Kerry had won, we would be a nation of geniuses; we would be free from any sort of terrorist threat; no one else in Iraq would die; North Korea and Iran would turn there nukes into planters; everyone would get the same income no matter how much or how little they did (through taxation); everyone would have health care; everyone would have a comfortable, secure retirement; everyone would have a job; we could all sit around with our homosexual spouse; we could all smoke pot; there would be no more SUVs on the road; no more demand for oil; stem cell technology would cure all of the world's ailments (how do we know this if we haven't done the research?).
To think one man could have done this all is amazing, and to think that a majority of voters some how ineptly voted against this savior.
We ARE a nation of idiots.

I don't recall anywhere that being an "idiot" disqualifies anyone from voting. Indeed, isn't democracy defined as "one idiot, one vote"?

Did I mention that I am a monarchist?

The masses are almost always wrong. And being governed by politicians always having to appeal to the masses is a formula for disaster. Right and wrong never enters into it. It is all pitch and sidestep.

I vote for this response. ;)

I just received an email from a very unhappy person---don't you know the world is going to the toilet because Bush got in again.

Sorry, I think this nation is going down the toilet no matter who won. Their methods of flushing are just different.

That about describes the situation.

The nation was presented with two losers and narrowly chose one over the other.

Bush is not great...that is true. However, Kerry is equal to Bush. To honestly think he would have changed the Patriot Act is halarious. The Patriot Act was his item to play for the ACLU vote...it is that simple. People act like the man can't read and that is why he jumped on board the wagon. Anyone to defends Kerry's initial support of the Patriot Act under 'emotions' or 'feelings' is actually helping in showing Kerry's weakness: In a time of crisis, Kerry traded a little liberty and freedom for a little security. There was no reason that the Patriot act should not have been debated for months and months. Instead, it was passed quickly. To me, this is no different than Bush not really understanding what he had just been told when reading books to kids at the school on 9/11. None of these folks are leaders.

If anything, I see Bush elected as the lesser of two evils -and- the sheeple pick because they honestly think he has made us 100% safe from terrorist.

The "Dumbing of America" has reached its apex with this election.

His handlers got everyone scared of the A-rabs a' comin' to git us and homersexuals having weddings and drove the great unwashed masses out to vote for him based on those fears. His supporters interpreted his thicked-skullness as being tough and resolute, rather than brittle and uncapable of complex thought. Thus, you have your "national security" and "moral values" issues.

This whole campaign has been like watching a train wreck in slow motion. I cannot fathom how people couldn't see through this worthless a**hole. :shk:

I will not call you an idiot; I will merely say that your statement is truly idiotic.

Libertarians and Dimbocrats are polar opposites in fundamental philosophy. The former thinks government is the enemy; the latter thinks government is their savior. If you cannot tell the difference, that says far more about you than it does about libertarians.

Many of us also did not appreciate the President implying that those opposed to his policies were anti-American and pro-terrorism, but that's the way the game is played. It's very hot in the kitchen these days.

Unfortunately, the tin foil crowd are the only ones asking the hard questions and demanding change. Everyone else are just LOTE losers (lesser of two evils). :tng:

Strangely, tin foil is a hot item with major parties when bashing the opposite team. I guess that's the way it is when you have a one way street running from ear to ear.
