(VOTE) NO POWER AT MY VOTING PLACE!

The workers were using flashlights this morning, and the voting booths were running on battery backup. I live in rural Louisiana. My power, 6 miles away, is on.

I sure hope my vote gets counted!!!

Hey Lafrteacher; Get ready..............we are sending more where that came from. It's pretty severe right now with extremely heavy downpours and high winds here in SW LA. This same scenario was the question of the day at our precinct. Most wanted to know if our vote would in fact count if the electricity suddenly went out due to the weather. Even the pollsters couldn't answer our question.
