Fox reports the Swenchonis family of Texas said 1) they were given too little notice to get from Texas to DC and 2) most of the families 'couldn't be bothered to come' because they knew what was going to happen.
Mr. Swenchonis said he had written a letter to 0bama on January 24 expressing concerns over the actions taken with his son's murderer, but never got a response. He has since faxed the letter to the White House, which assured him 0bama will get it.
He also said he thought about the son he lost and cried all night long last night, after he heard the news on the charges being dropped.
I'm sure someone will prepare a better report with more information, but this is what I just saw on Fox now.
