Just ran across this---he was 34 years old, soft-spoken (almost gentle) in his speech--and danged HANDSOME.
Carter was President when Trump did this interview--and we were in the midst of the Iranian Hostage crisis.
Reagan was God's man for the President in the US in the 80's--in fact I've often said he was America's last REAL President--esp. w his being that all-important number 40.
But others have associated Trump's name with "the last trump"--as in, President for the last days---and it may be so.
Either way, he is VERY impressive in this video---
