In a normally functioning democracy (constitutional republic), the testimony today by Trump corporate comptroller Jeff McConney would end the ridiculous “hush money” case. McConney testified he alone was the one who instructed the accounting department to classify payments to Michael Cohen as “legal expenses.”

This entire premise of the silly NY City case against Donald Trump is predicated on the claim candidate Trump had the payments classified as legal expenses to hide the hush money payment. If Trump didn’t determine the classification, the case should collapse. Alas, we all know what this Lawfare is really about.

Probably just what they think. They KNOW it has a life expectancy of seconds on appeal, but that doesn't matter. They're wasting Trump's time and money, trying desperately to cut him down before November. Does it matter? I wonder, honestly. How many minds do they think they're changing? The Dems are losing the BLACK vote. Can they even cheat hard enough to win in that kind of situation? Especially without pandemic workarounds to help?

The only thing that I can think is that they are providing fodder for their brain washed masses to spread around. I see some of it on Faceborg. I think that we have established that the rule of law is dead.

And to what end? How many minds are actually being manipulated one way or another? The left keeps screaming about how evil Trump is, but they've been screaming that for years. The people who voted Trump in 2016 and 2020 are probably going to come back and do it again in 2024. And based on what we've heard so far, plenty of people are abandoning the dems to back Trump or stay home.

Which is kind of meaningless. Trump's off the campaign trail; what of it? Everyone knows who Trump is already. The whole point of a campaign is to reach the undecided and convert them. Beyond that, all you need is an occasional reminder that Trump is still running for president, and even then, I doubt many reminders are necessary.

So that the MSM can crow about O'Biden's 80-200 million votes they are printing for this year. Nothing else makes sense. This campaign is only driving people away from the Dems in my opinion, for what ever that is worth...
