Trailer of Bibles intentionally set on fire in front of Tennessee church on Easter Sunday

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee weighs in on outrage surrounding 'Trans Visibility Day' and the White House banning religious designs from its Easter egg art contest.
Authorities in a Tennessee community are investigating after a trailer full of Bibles was intentionally set on fire in front of a church on Easter Sunday.

Around 6 a.m. on Sunday, the Mount Juliet Police Department and Fire Department swiftly responded to a trailer fire located in an intersection that was blocking the entrance of the Global Vision Church.
The church's pastor, Greg Locke, said in a statement posted on Facebook, that the church's security cameras were able to capture a man reportedly dropping off the trailer before setting it ablaze.
"There was a lady that had driven through the night to get to our church, and she was in the parking lot and was able to get the police officers here quickly, but it was quite the scene to wake up to on my first morning back from Israel," Pastor Locke wrote.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office also issued a statement saying they believe the fire was set intentionally.
Hundreds took to social media to show their support for the church, that was able to proceed without having any Easter services interrupted.
"The evil out there is frightening. So thankful no one was harmed or damage done to the church. May our Lord touch the heart of the person who did this," one user wrote.

"Gods got the next move. Jesus is alive and doing mighty things. Prayers for that man and also for the church. Onward Christain Soldiers," another user wrote.
"Wow... the enemy is stirred and knows his time is limited. We shall not be shaken!" one comment read.

The Wilson County Sheriff's Office said it is not known at this time if the fire was aimed at the church or not.

"To uphold the integrity of the ongoing investigation, other specific details cannot be provided at this time. However, we assure the community that further updates will be shared at the appropriate juncture," the sheriff's office stated.
No injuries have been reported following the incident, officials said.

If they were copies of the Koran wouldn’t they think that to be a ‘hate’ crime? :screw:

Regardless….you can burn a bible but you can’t nullify God’s everlasting word with physical fire. And that man that did this has some spiritual fire headed his way.

Greg Locke reacts to trailer full of Bibles burned in Wilson County near church

Wilson County police and emergency crews responded to a trailer fire early Sunday that saw hundreds of Bibles burned, according to the Wilson County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators believe the trailer, at the intersection of Old Lebanon Dirt Road and Chandler Road near Global Vision Bible Church led by Pastor Greg Locke, was intentionally set on fire at around 6 a.m., the sheriff's office said.

The fire was extinguished by the Mt. Juliet Fire Department.

Locke addressed the trailer fire at Global Vision and said there were "probably 200 Bibles" on the trailer. Locke said the fire was set in front of an entrance.

"It was 100 percent directed at (Global Vision Bible Church)," Locke said. "It blocked the entrance to our campus and the fact that it was an entire load of Bibles is rather conclusive proof that is was most assuredly directed at us.

"It did not, nor will it stop us. It was cleaned up in time for people to drive into the parking lot. We had a full house and a marvelous service."

Global Vision has held burning events in the past that involved materials the church believes is connected to witchcraft and the occult.

After the fire was contained, Wilson County Sheriff’s Office deputies and detectives took control of the investigation.

"If you think Christianity is not under attack more than ever before in the United States of America, you have not been paying attention." Locke said about the fire.

Anyone with any information or camera footage can call contact the Wilson County Sheriff’s Office at 615-444-1459.

I'm telling ya, my friends used to laugh at me when I said this, but they aren't laughing so much anymore.

Soon they are going to be hunting Conservative-Christians. Check out the 10 stages of Genocide and see where we are in the "Playbook". They dont necessarily happen in order. But you can already see elements of it going on right now.

While that burning is not a nice thing to do, at all.

The only thing that happened is the person was out a lot of money. You can still get them all day long at Walmart.

If that starts to become a thing.........

Cool! Some seller of bibles made a lot of money when the yahoos purchased them to burn. Bully!
Burn all you want, who cares? The paper, the book per se is not holy but the ideas, words and thoughts.
Buy and burn more - that will put the bible-seller in a better financial position.

The person who did this stunt seemingly does not have that much brains. Think of all the money the person had to pay to buy all those bibles and for the trailer, just to burn them in a protest and leave the trailer behind. Interesting! But it shows one must watch out in this day and age.

Gays hate the church and think it either needs to be banned or the Bible rewritten to their liking.
Right now church goers are suppose to stone to death gays or hang gays from a tree.
