Misc Tobacco users: what do you smoke/chew/dip these days?

I smoked for almost thirty years, and then quit about twenty years ago. When I was a regular smoker (of Camel straights), the most common cigarettes seemed to be Camels and Luckys for the non-filter crowd, Marlboro and Winston for those who preferred filters, and Salems or Kools for the menthol-fanciers. Very few smoked a pipe, and almost no-one used chew or dip.

Things are obviously changed. I plan on stocking up on tobacco, not for my own use, but as barter material. This will fit in well with the little 'airline bottles' of booze, Bic lighters, soap and shampoo, and so forth. What should I buy for tobacco trade goods?

Husband and I both smokers. I am less than a pack a day, hubby is more to pack and a half.

We both have moved to vape. I like Strawberry, creamy or dessert flavors, hubby likes tropical flavors. We have cut down tremendously on smoking. I am down to about half a pack, and hubby about a pack a day. We both started on 24 mg Salts or 6 mg regular eJuice.

Vaping is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper. I go through a 100 ml bottle a week at a cost of $12-25. So at most $200/month, whereas cigarettes would have been $200/week for both of us.

ON top of that, we are able to reduce the strength of the nicotine and ween ourselves off smoking altogether.

I smoked for 45 years then last February I decided I wanted to quit and I did cold Turkey, I vape some every day, because of the habit of blowing smoke for so long, but I noticed a big change in my breathing within a month of stopping Cigarettes, and I go hours at a time and not even Vape. I'll have to say even today, I smell a Marlboro burning and dang it smells so good but I've not giving to the urge in yet.

If I was going to buy tobacco for barter, I'd get little cigars online. Lots of different brands available and I've tried several of them. They're way cheaper and smoke just like cigarettes.

The dried powder snuff in jars is your best bet for long shelf life otherwise shrink wrapped shredded loose tobacco.
I have quit tobacco for 2 years now. Smoked regular for 30+ years dipped Copenhagen too. Occasionally smoke a hemp cig for the smoke.

I now smoke a shaboink atleast every other day Depending on the stress environment, and if I'm with other smokers.

Looking for true hemp seeds, stuff grows like a weed.

Interesting! Seems all the high school kids have tried the free versions in the ditch around here. :xpnd:
