Trump supporting comedian Terrence K Williams recently unveiled a new product that he is selling, “Cousin T’s Gourmet Pancake Mix.”
On Monday, Williams tweeted out a video and said, “I’m so excited to introduce my new Product!! Cousin T’s Gourmet Pancakes.”

“I started working on this when they took Aunt Jemima’s face off the box! So disappointing! I love Pancakes! They can’t cancel these pancakes!!” Williams explained.

Pastor Darrell Scott tweeted earlier today a video of himself opening up a box of the pancake mix, which Williams retweeted.

“Hey ⁦@w_terrence⁩ Imma have pancakes for breakfast! Dey bet be good!!! #CousinTs,” Scott told Williams.

Williams then tweeted, “I will not let Cancel Culture cancel my Pancake Mix! They are already coming for it! They Got Aunt Jemima & Uncle Ben But Cousin Ts is here to stay!”

“We all loved Uncle Ben and Aunt Jemima but their wonderful faces were snatched from the box! It was the most racist thing ever and disgusting! I had to do something about it! I created CousinTs! #CousinTs will not be treated like they were!” Williams insisted.

Not long thereafter, Williams shared screenshots of liberals responding to his tweets advertising the new product with hateful messages.

“It’s disgusting to see all these people attack me for selling flapjacks. If I was a rapper who sold crack they would support me. I’m doing something positive. Cousin Ts Pancakes will not be canceled!!” Williams lamented.

Using "Quick Reply" I "highlight" what I'm looking to put in quotes.

On my PC (Windows 8) the top bar of the Quick Reply includes a symbol consisting of three dots and a "down" arrow.

Hit this and it blows down into choices. ONe of these is "quote." If you press this it adds the typical notation for quote at the beginning and end of the highlighted section automatically.

And on "Post Reply" (or Preview) your quoted phrase shows up with a "box" around it. Standard quote setup for this board.

Sorry Cousin T, I've been eating pancakes made with Bisquick since Kindergarten. Love 'em, absolutley love 'em. SB has continued the tradition.

Get it all up in my eyebrows, and dripping off my chin.

SB added bacon on the side so it's like Awesome times 2.

Wishing you the best Cousin T, but I've got mine.

OH!!! Thank you!!!! See, I never noticed that quick reply button!!! I have, over the years, tried to figure this out, many times :geek: and felt "there must be a trick to this". Much appreciation @Dobbin :rs: I'm a little slow, out of the gate, so to speak, or neigh, whichever:lol:

Truth. Bisquick with Log Cabin. Though I did discover REAL maple syrup a while back, and that's better than any commercial syrup around.

I confess to wondering how a pancake can actually be "gourmet" to begin with. It's a pancake. How do you make a "gourmet" pancake?

They probably use the same darn ingredients and tweak one thing (amount of baking powder or salt) and voila ... gourmet.

Does the "c" stand for "Cynic"? :D

Seriously, is there even a difference?

There you go.

Since I don't know about these things, I eat regular stuff, they might add other things too.

Like Cranberry extract, or extra, extra, extra vanilla, if I had a few bites I might add some more "extras". hiccup.

Ditto. :D

Just kinda got me wondering how you actually make a "gourmet" pancake and what the difference between it and a straight Bisquick is. Or just flour, egg and water / milk.

Like Cary said, I use Bisquick. To make even better pancakes from the original recipe, add a little sugar, baking soda, and vanilla extract to the batter, and you have gourmet pancakes. Cary likes extra, extra vanilla extract.... Look for "The Ultimate Pancake" recipe on the back of the Bisquick box. It's the one I use.

You know, there probably WOULD be a value to having a recipe that's a little different. The fact that you know about it, and can make a pre-packaged mix accordingly, would save people time and ingredients experimenting on their own.

Excuse me. Ya'll are forgetting that the alcohol is cooked out of the pancakes leaving only the flavor. The only medicinal purpose my pancakes serve is to make Cary want to take a nap. He goes into a pancake and bacon coma from overstuffing himself.

Pancakes become "gourmet" when our friend who is a real French Chef trained in Paris makes them and calls them Crepes, otherwise, they are still just pancakes...lol!

Use Krusteaz pancake mix. Does just fine, just add water. Egg and oil, waffles. One could certainly add vanilla or whatever. 10# bags at Costco. They also carry 1/2 gallons Log Cabin syrup, pack of two.
So I’m a cretin.

On another note, I don't understand the pancake mix concept, they are so easy to make; I have made my own mixes occasionally using organic flours and other stuff but that is really just mixing ahead or making homemade Bisquick but you know exactly what it is in it.

But most pancakes are variations of eggs, flour, milk, oil/butter, salt, a bit of sugar, and baking powder or baking soda if using buttermilk. Some get fancier with blueberries, apples, bacon, or whatever; and you can make them with yeast starting the night before (I have a wonderful waffle recipe that does this). A lot of Americans put more sugar in them, most Europeans only put a tiny bit unless it is a festival pancake or waffle (or a special one like Belgium Waffles).

But with a mix, you are just paying someone to add about three ingredients for you and sometimes adding a lot of commercial additives and flavorings you may really not want in your food.

By the way, almost all commercial and homemade mixes use shortening for shelf life, I had to search for ages to find a homemade mix recipe (from the 1930s) that let you just add your own butter or oil before cooking.
