Silver Geladak Perak Collapses
The broken bridge was named the Geladak Perak (Silver Deck) by the
Lumajang residents. The location is in Sumberwuluh Village, Candipuro District. The bridge collapsed due to being hit by cold lava so that the foundation supporting it from below was not strong enough to withstand and collapsed.
The bridge is the only bridge connecting Pronojiwo and Candipuro sub-districts, or connecting
Lumajang and Malang districts via Piket Nol. For this reason, people who will travel through this route are asked to turn back.
