SCAM Telemarketer calls at 2:30 a.m.!?!?

No matter how aggravating the telemarketers have been over the years, I've never had any call after 9 p.m. until this morning. They called both cell phones (mine and my wife's) around 2:30 a.m. and left messages (we sleep with ringers off since everyone knows to call our landline for emergencies).

I hope this is not a new trend. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have my phone set so that if a incoming call is not on my contact list it goes straight to voice mail.

Last week I got two calls at a few minutes after midnight. I've got the settings on mine so that repeated calls from the same number will ring through in do-not-disturb mode. Both calls from Atlanta within a minute of each other. That's never happened before.

Probably a call from the opposite side of the planet - best WAG, India.

If our Gov't. has the ability to eavesdrop/copy all our voice &/or txt comms, they have the ability to sort this out and block these scammer/thieves.

Of course that might be seen as impairing the ability of 3rd worlders to 'earn' income at our expense - obviously a SJ Issue for We, The People. We have to become more understanding (NOT)
