EBOLA Ted Danson Starred in Hemorrhagic Fever Horror Show Sunday Nite

It was one of those CSI-type shows. The hemorrhagic fever outbreak they were facing was called Ybarra, from Bolivia. A doctor who had treated Ybarra patients in Bolivia years ago and became obsessed with the end of the world was found shot dead in his apartment. The crime scene investigators who showed up at the place remarked that there was blood everywhere. It took them a while to notice that the man had started bleeding out before he was shot.

When they called in to report the outbreak, the government had the place fumigated lickety split by an ant farm of biohazard suited workers who put the investigators in space suits and transferred them to an isolated, hermetically sealed healthcare facility. This is the part that indicates the story is fictional because that certainly hasn't happened in meat world so far.

The story was so dark, gory, and disturbing I began to wonder if it was some kind of government mind-fook operation :screw: -- especially because the episode had to have been filmed several months before it aired last night.

Did any other TB2Kers see the show and, if so, what was your impression of it?

I missed it....will have to see if I can find it online somewhere. I've been waiting for all the shows to start having this theme though.

I have noticed that those "CSI" type shows seem to pull something from "Recent" headlines often. They will change the names and such and add in a plot. It makes the show more interesting when something similar is currently going on.

Ah, Bridey Rose, that show IS ACTUALLY called "Crime Scene Investigation" or "CSI" and is the flagship of the CSI Fleet (CSI NY, CSI Miami, CSI Cyber [coming]).

Danson replaced Laurence Fishburn who replaced William Peterson as Gil Grissom (the main team lead for years).

You will enjoy Blacklist next week then. Though they're using pneumonic plague. Misrepresented slightly but still Y Pestis.
