I'm putting up 20 movies this week. I'm also organizing things differently than in the past.

This thread on MAIN has the info (IMDB) links about the movies and is the place for discussion about them, like before.
However, all of the actual movie links are located in a separate, members-only, thread in the MEDIA CENTER at this link:

This should help protect the source of the movies and keep them available longer.

All of the movies this week are higher quality and larger files (2-3 GB).
Posters on limited download internet connections like Hughesnet or cell phone internet
should be careful not to use up too much of your allowed internet data.


It's movie time on TB2K again. Here are a variety of movies to help kick back from the real world if only for a few hours.

If you watch or download a movie, please comment or like to guide future selections.
Click the "movies" tag at top to see a list of previous movie threads.

I'm not going to find and post movie trailers and movie posters this weekend. I'm tired.
Movie trailers can be found at youtube: just search for "trailer for (name of movie)"
Movie Posters can be seen at the IMDB links along with info and reviews of each movie.

Well well well. I came to remind you that I have enough trouble keeping my days straight without you rolling out our wonderful weekend selections a day early. However, I got so engrossed in all the new options and processes that all I

I understand. This was a change that was needed to help protect the movie sources and hopefully keep them available longer.

Think of it this way: info and discussion goes on this thread and the actual links are on the other thread.
Each of the 2 threads has an obvious link to the other so you can't (easily) get lost. :)

I started testing the split thread concept tonight and decided to just keep going and do the weekend movie thread.

These all come from the same source. It seemed like a good idea to post the best of the best of what they had.

Yeah, you would put up a bonafide bodacious dump like this when I am at our BOL with a connection that suuuucks. Let me count the ways I hate Windstream. Hopefully this will still be up when we get back to my FiOS connection though lately Frontier has been getting on my crap list as well. You, my friend, are not. Between this and the youtube download program you posted last week I am become a happy little downloader again.

Love all of them. Isn't it ironic the majority of which are the old story of a man or society being oppressed by a corrupt group of locals or their government & they fought against the odds to remove them from their position.

Everybody loves these movies & will talk at length of how they would do the same in that situation.

Oh what fun. SMH.

I just downloaded and watch the first Death Wish, which I have never seen before. I was overseas in the US Army and never caught it. I have seen all the rest but I didn't think they were very good at all. The Siskel and Ebert tv review of Death Wish 2 brought back some memories.

Thanks. I upped my verizon download to 30 GB from 15 so I can actually not take 2 hours to download.:D

The first Rambo was also clearly superior to any of the cartoon ones afterword.
