UNEX Strange phenomenon in sky above my home last night in Rocheport, Missouri, USA

Had a high school graduation party for my son yesterday. My younger son and a few of his friends were up late around the fire and saw some weird stuff in the sky at about 0115 hours CST.

Got some video but the still shots may be more impressive.

There seems to be a main 'object' and a companion perhaps?

The main object got very bright and displayed a 'cone' of light that spread out to become a large illuminated ring that eventually covered a significant portion of the sky.

At one point they witnessed a beam of light, origin unknown, which the object(s) seemed to navigate toward.

What do you all think???

Definite possibility. We are only about 75 miles from Whiteman AFB...

It's really cool to see two of them at night because they fly pretty low and you don't realize it was one until it's darn near above then past you. By being in an open area rurally and on clear quiet nights, we figured out what they were by their shape. We also see helicopter formations, especially on weekend nights and their direction of travel is to/from Fort Leonard Wood.

Video and photos taken at about 0116 CST which would be 0216 EST.

I've seen rocket launches from Vanderburg and they don't look anything like that.
We've also seen UAPs taking off from Ord Mt here in S. CA desert. Lights in formation slowly and then blasting into outer space. Stone cold sober 4 in the morning on the way to our cabin. I would never poo poo anyone else's sightings of UFOs.

Not aliens. That beam of light is a 'Tesla cannon'. Remember that ship harbor in that mid-east country a good while back? Well, here's a meme I made back then of 2 light beams that were captured on film just minutes before that big explosion and resulting major fire in the shipyard. Oh and remember who Donald Trump's Uncle John was very close friends with?

I saw quite a few nice meteor displays last night in the NW sky. First thought that was what you were on about.

Definitely concur with "rocket".

The rocket launches we watched were bright multi colored wiggly streaks that stayed in the air quite a while all the way across the sky. Scary enough some thought it might be a nuclear missile coming to get us.

That looks the same as one they showed on Skinwalker Ranch series.

Circle of smoke looks like a sonic boom maybe? I looked it up and Astra launched 2 hurricane weather satellites yesterday, one of which failed. It could have been the booster separating from the rocket. They launched from Cape Canaveral, but you could have seen its travel arch over your home.
