I asked about removing the battery from FL's Toyota a few weeks ago. Mixd responses from unplugging one terminal to a battery tender.
Problem is the tender is a bit out of reach ATM, soon but not RTFN.
So, Battery is too low to crank the ar. Won't be able to reach it with the cables for a few days if the weather holds-weather is fine but loaded trailer blocking me from getting Jeep close enough for cables.
Got to thinking-back cargo area of Jeep has a cig lighter outlet with the battery symbol on it to let you know it has access to the vehicle battery for charging. I am guessing, like most of these it is a dead outlet until the key is turned on.
A keep wall and auto adapters from all kind of defunct or lost items-phone,, computers, GPS and so forth and have a number of the ones for cig lighters.
Icould trim the item plug in off giving me the lighter plug-in side and cords.
Attach a couple of spring clamps, put the battery in the back of Jeep and keep it charged when the Jeep is getting used.
The cable usually have a colored line so you know Positive from Negative so....any issues with the idea?
