I live with an Italian clan that lives this as well. I tend to be impervious to most things. And honestly, unless I get a vibe that tells me that someone is really trying to be nasty, I tend to shrug off insults figuring that someone has either had a bad day or I misspoke something. When I get a chance I'll mentally review. But I decided long ago that I can't be everyone's cup of tea and still keep my sanity. What little of it I still have, when it doesn't go walkabout without telling me. And dang if that isn't the one thing that nobody has for sale, so I can't stock up on some either.

As a Native American I can tell you that I get people, of all races, telling me that I don't look native american at all! My response is to ask them "so what does a native american look like?" That usually stymies them long enough to tell them that we don't all look the same and some of us look more "asian" than others while some of us like myself and a whole bunch of my cousins look more "greek" than others.

I tried, years ago, to make friends with black people and to learn about their culture. It was just one of those things that I wanted to do. I like to understand people and how they view the world. It helps me to be a better friend and person.
I was shut down at every attempt. I was supposedly just trying to... I can't even remember what the words were at this point but it was basically that any white person trying to be a true friend to a black person was just being fake. And they would do everything they could to just put you down and insult you at every turn. And that was 2+ decades ago. I doubt it's gotten any better now. In fact, I know it hasn't because the few POC that I know, of any skin color except Native American, take great pleasure in telling my my views are wrong whenever they possibly can. And that I'm "privileged", although they typically end up eating those words quickly. Because, in reality, they all have easier lives with more support systems than I do.

The real question is why are you "privileged" which is fact if you are White living in the US.........

...........after all you and I are White people living in a traditionally White country founded by Whites so we should be........

I have no problem being "privileged" in this country due to my racial makeup.................but why?

Well the world history of humanity didn't just throw dice and say........oh look Whites you will be the ones to dominate the world, split the atom and walk on the moon.............you will develop the digital information age and modern medical practices............while the rest of the races are still trying to figure out how to feed their populations........

I will state that too many Whites today have become soft resting on the laurels of their ancestors and give the sense of an unearned privilege in today's society ...........but whose to say the rest of the races aren't soft on the backs of the White race as well today?

So one must face the fact...............is privilege plain dumb luck............or is it earned and others can't stand that?

The incessant media and progressive political campaign to claim that something called white supremacy is a major threat to Americans, especially African Americans, has been chillingly effective. A Washington Post-Ipsos poll reveals that three quarters of Blacks are worried that they or someone they love will be attacked by a white person. And nearly as many, 70 percent, believe that half or more of all White people “hold white supremacist beliefs.”

Two-thirds of Black people believe that white supremacy is a bigger threat today than 5 years ago, and 73 percent believe “restrictions on voting rights” are a “major threat.”

My own perspective is that these views are wildly unrealistic, that white supremacy is a distinctly crackpot phenomenon limited to a tiny percentage of the populace. Crime statistics show that interracial crime is overwhelmingly comprised of Black attacks on Whites and Asians, as opposed to attacks on Blacks.

But these results are perhaps not sur[rising, considering how the media have persuaded large numbers of Blacks and Whites that huge numbers of unarmed Black people are killed by police every year when the actual number is under 20 usually.

Unsurprisingly, the people who natter on about “disinformation” have nothing to say about the ruinous effect of racial fear-mongering on the subject of purported widespread White racism.

I ain't too sure about this poll. One wonders if the areas polled were not randomly selected.

Why do they move to white neighborhoods then? Why not stay in black neighborhoods, where they view their black neighbors more positively...and then try and build something of that area? No. It's easier to tag along with whitey. More benefits that way.

My girlfriend and her siblings were American anchor babies and the parents were illegal.The kids were effortlessly bilingual, the dad tried hard to assimilate with broken English, but the mother was stubborn and refused to speak “white”. The girlfriend would constantly tell her mom learn English and leave me alone.

At school, we were the couple watched like hawks by the teachers. Sure the captain of the football team had his girlfriend sit in his lap, and put his hands close to inappropriate, but it was ignored. If I sat within three inches of my girlfriend, there would be a teacher correcting our behavior.

And lastly, for the guys. Other than one Mexican girl in high school where nothing did happen, I’ve stayed within my race. The strange part is, with a small few exceptions, the majority of women who have seriously flirted or were openly offering have been black. When I worked for Raytheon, my department had 80-100 people with about 10 black guys and four black women. All four of those women asked me out or gave me their number.

I don’t know why that happens. Even now, I’m 50 and frequently people thin I’m at least 60 but my wife’s black employees and the ones involved with black guys flirt with me. Not the older ones, but the under 40 and I have zero idea why I attract them. I’m not going there so why do they flock to me?

Because they want to live in areas that "aren't policed". Yes, they honestly believe that the police do not come out to white areas unless specifically called out there. They don't make the connection that the police don't come out because the people in those areas control their own behavior so that the police don't have to come out. Okay, that's too generalized because a lot of blacks do realize those things. It becomes a problem when those who don't want to control their own behavior follow the ones that actually comprehend the basic social contract and try to adhere to it.

There is another movement under the radar by Blacks that might surprise you......

With the recent problems of BLM in corrruption (wow who didn't see that coming?).............most Black are getting disillusioned with that movement............

But here is one gaining traction with them....................bizarre as it may sound there is as group that wants to see American become 85% plus White again...........not the current 61%

Why???.........you might ask.

Compton, CA has the answer..............the trend there like most of Southern Cali over the decades is a trend that follows in a decade or two over much of the US.

See back in the 50s and 60s...........Compton was a middle class pleasant White area..............then over time after civil rights and integration Blacks started moving in...........with it crime and Whites started moving out.

Compton became the Black mecca of thuggery and rapping by the 90s......................but over time immigration from Hispanics saw them moving into that area..................and they didn't have any guilt trip about Blacks and their gangs started pushing the Black gangs out............today Compton is mostly Hispanic.

Jessie Jackson hoped to build a rainbow coalition many decades ago of Black, Brown and Yellow unified against the White power structure......what he found out is no race wants to side up with Blacks.....

Now since 1965 immigration started Hispanics have gone from less that 5% to a predicted 40% of American by 2040.

Blacks have pretty much remained level around 12-14%..............

They know that if America becomes Brown majority............that there will no longer be welfare and ass kissing in their communities that they have received from the White guilt slavery narrative of they've been cruising on for all these decades........especially after the civil rights movement....and in more recent push with White social Marxists......

They know that if the White population base fall off to a minority status it spells trouble for them..................

In general Browns will out work.........out hustle..........and as a race are collectively just smart enough over Blacks to run the show on them and they have no guilt trip in the way of preventing them from putting Blacks in line or putting up with the hand outs.

Blacks in this movement know that if America stays dominate White that they will continue to get the gravy train of the recent years. As are result, they are opposed to any non Black diversity and non White immigration ......

So there is a movement starting with Blacks that actually wants to see American remain White enough to keep "dem dibs comin".......

Talk about a race that knows they can't run a show themselves.................no wonder they need White countries but hate them at the same time.........

Want to see this in action? Come to Florida. And this state at least has some balance to it because Florida has always had a percentage of Hispanics living here back to the 1500’s. I know several Hispanic families that have been in Florida since before it was a state.

US Blacks are moving to areas like FL, or other areas where there are larger immigrant populations, and running head on into other Black cultures that they've not experienced before. And it's a mixed bag, but a lot of immigrant Blacks do not have much tolerance for the attitudes of the US Blacks. So that whole "all blacks are one giant group" thing is starting to fracture as more non-US cultures come in.

Most hispanics consider Puerto Ricans crazy and rarely if ever intermarry with them.

Been seeing that here in some communities. The Guatemalans tend to stick in neighborhoods together. We don't have many Puerto Ricans as family groups here though. Or didn't. I haven't really kept up on it.
One interesting thing I notices was that the new groups don't tend to have the "white hatred" issues. They are more tribal with a dislike of any outsiders and a distrust of authority/government. And they have the old family values.

Believe it or not, we are "The Man"

The man is anyone with assets and even of little means. This is their mindset. Often backed by their life experiences.

Because their education in the real world is preached by their peers, MSM and government.

Government is their only salvation. And they see the government as all powerfull who distributes money and power out to the man, because they are the man.

Hard to explain but it's all so real. When a working poor individual who has been brainwashed to blame "the man" does get a job and they see all the taxes taking out and taxes when they buy stuff...

That's the man stealing their wages and taxing their income when they buy stuff.

It doesn't connect to most that it is government that steals their laborers and income. It's their boss or store owner (aka "the man") that keeps them down and poor.

It's FUBAR.

If you own or are buying a home, own or buying a auto, own or have a retirement account..... YOU'RE "THE MAN".

And that has preconceived cultural connections for a lot of them. And a lot of headaches for me when I run into them. Although, I'm a lot older now, so the problematic ones may not be as problematic now.

I guess where I grew up amongst them and being black Irish with dark hair and all, I was just accepted. I speak Cuban Spanish and can dance the salsa and cook like their abùela (grandmother). Hispanics from my generation (I’m 50) don’t dislike whites at all. The new ones from South America do though. They think they are entitled to everything. I can’t stand them. I have no problem with Cubans though.

It's the hair. Black irish fit right in. But there are, or were, large portions of their culture that have some obsessions with red hair. It got to the point that I couldn't go to Mexican restaurants that were actually run by Mexicans because every bloody male in the place would have to just come by the table to say hi. And I'm not a people person. I am painfully shy until I know people and I don't accept that type of attention very well.
I also used to have them follow me around the stores when I was working. It was many levels of annoying and unnerving. More than one job would make sure to watch me get to my car to make sure that I made it there, and in, without any harassment.
Maybe it was just the area I was living in at the time. It was a shame because I absolutely love most of their cooking.

Well, I'd call plenty of black folks my friend but we have a common bond...Christ. While one of my good black friends did vote for Obama, I think he saw his way. Just doesn't want to talk about it anymore because he was so disheartened.

Educated black women, the ones that really got educated and were able to see where they wanted to be in life often prefer to marry white or asian men. They see uneducated/unchanged black males for what they really are, losers/grifters.

I have no issues with this, every race has it's pecking order, which is what pisses blacks off, they want to be at the head of the totem pole, not at the bottom which every race except their own knows is their rightful place. Heck NA's/indigenous peoples are not even on the totem pole, so they really have nothing to bitch about from my point of view.
