Note from me: There was another 4.4 about 5:36 this morning same location. Felt it as the shock rolled beneath me.

Has OK always had these earthquakes? My Father's side were all native Okies and I don't recall any ever being mentioned. Is it fracking?
If you ever drive 35 south the limestone from North of Davis to Ardmore is folded. It takes major geologic movement to make that happen. Most of the limestone in the Ozark area is still bedded horizontal. Something happened in south central Oklahoma eons ago.

I'm not sure if it is fracking this time or not. The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has sent a team to investigate to see if it is fracking.

Reading elsewhere, there seems to have been 2 or 3 aftershocks from the 4.4 that we had at 7:36 this morning.

I live probably about 30-40 minutes from there, give or take a few, and felt the rattles and heard the booms starting last night. Strange the dogs haven't done anything, but the cats were acting crazy yesterday. One of the cats this morning about 4am, was looking BSC. Bat * crazy.

Latest per the local news - 18 total quakes. They seem to be making a big deal out of this, as it was close to a water treatment facility at that lake. OCC has reported that there is no active oil or gas work in the area, so it doesn't seem to be fracking at the moment.
6 to 6.5km is deeper than any fracking operation I've heard of. They're fracking 3 to 4km deep around here in eastern PA and that's very deep fracking per friends in the industry. In Oklahoma they're working at 2km deep or thereabouts.
