[SCI] WEIRD E-Mail -- Seen anything like it?

I have received three e-mails this morning. The from area had lots of keyboard symbols and the words MAC and ARABIC in it. The subject area showed the same thing but with lots more of the symbols.

I trashed and emptied them without opening them for fear of some kind of virus.

Have any of you seen anything like that?

yeah I've seen a few over the last year or so, and in the last 2 mo several.

I imagine it'll become a regular thing as other language countries get up to speed with the Internet. Spam isn't limited to the english language. We've sorta gotten used to seeing net stuff in english only..that'll change..is changing..rapidly.

Personally, I don't even download email from senders I don't recognize..english lang or not. hehe, and I've learned to be cautious with some of those. Heh, remember the wisdom about curiosity and the cat's demise. 'Course I'm sorta wierd..I don't jump to answer the phone every time it rings either.

My suggestion: get ERemove and read your email at the server level, or, do all your emailing with web accts, not pop3 accts.
