PREP Safecastle Ordering Problems

Several weeks ago I placed an order with Safecastle. I realize they are probably busy, but when I tried to log in to their site to check the status of the order, it would not let me in. I thought I had forgotten my password, so I checked on the forgotten password link. It said that it had sent it to my e-mail address to reset it, but it never posted. I have tried this many times, but I am not receiving anything from them. I really need to know if my order has been shipped or never received.

If you guys are checking this site, I need to know if my order has been shipped or not since I cannot get in touch with you thru your site.

Anyone else having a problem?

I was able to log in just now and I still have an item in my cart that I haven't ordered yet.

Did you check your email junk box for the password reset? I often find important mailings there. I always wonder what kind of filter they use to determine junk.

I've ordered a few cases of freeze dried from Vic over the last few days and no problem with the order or the Fed-Ex confirmation from Mountain House.

Email is a great thing, FG. I replied to your email 13 minutes after you queried me. Half that time I spent researching your problem. It turns out you were using the wrong email address to try to log in, and therefore you were not receiving the log-in prompt email. The site is working fine. (And you never completed the order you thought you placed.)

Although, BTW--later tonight we will be down for about 5 hours I am told by our hosts, Network Solutions, while our server is swapped out. Keeping my fingers crossed that they run into no big issues that extends that period.

Thanks Vic, I finally completed my order to you. I was very impressed at the speed of your response to me when I e-mailed you. My bad, I should have just e-mailed you to begin with. My order was still sitting in my cart, I must have gotten called away and thought I sent the order when I did not. Probably a good thing since I added an extra item to the order I just sent.

I'm still not able to even access the safecastle site from Firefox or Opera, I have no idea why and can't seem to find a setting in either browser that would fix the problem. Just keeps going to a page timed out screen.

Flippper--right now, and for the next few hours, our site is down for a server switch. But it sounds like you need to empty your browser cache in one (or both) of your browsers if you are unable to see our site during normal times.
