US maritime strike helicopter spotted off the coast of Israel. Generally, flight tracks in this part of the Med are notoriously off, however the location is being picked up using ADS-B and not Mode-S/MLAT. Its low altitude at beginning of track over water often indicates take off from the deck of a warship, but not always. In recent days, it was announced that the US would send warships to aid in the air defense of Israel.

Worth asking @StateDept
about this: "The Iranians were informed that there would be Israeli activity via two regional channels carrying a message from the U.S."

Exclusive: Iran’s military stays on ‘high alert’ as diplomacy ‘relies on Gaza’

1–2 minutes

While details remain unclear, Israel is suspected of having targeted military sites in central Iran and early warning facilities in Syria. The Iranians were informed that there would be Israeli activity via two regional channels carrying a message from the US, Amwaj.media has learned. Speaking on condition of anonymity, an Arab diplomatic source alleged that Israel was planning to strike earlier this week, but that the targets it chose were vetoed by the Joe Biden administration. Amwaj.media could not independently confirm this assertion.

Separately, a source in Beirut familiar with Hezbollah-Iran dynamics stated that aside from Iran’s Apr. 14 drone and missile strike on Israel, Hezbollah’s intensified operations in past days “carried a message that should have been absorbed well in Israel.” The Lebanese movement recently fired at least two attack drones, leaving multiple Israel soldiers injured with some in critical condition...

The Iranians were informed that there would be Israeli activity via two regional channels carrying a message from the US.

Then the US (BIDEN's US) has officially declared itself a traitor to its ally and an enemy of Israel.

yes, we were just discussing that story and our thoughts on the previous page

I wonder, as Echo 5 above noted, if this was the same night we were all hearing of such high channel activity via Sky-King, Sky-Master, etc. As Echo 5 said--it would explain much!
A conventional shoot down or crash wouldn't obliterate the nookyoular signature.

A trifecta: Israel-Iran-Russia EEEMmmPEEE threat. That's solid gold doom there...

Might be true but there will be evidence IF TRUE...

I am still disinclined to believe any form o' nukes were actually going to be dropped on Iran- but i can see a great game being played in which one episode includes a psych op of epic proportions and involves letting traffic be heard, and stories be put into the public square, along with some concrete proof that Israel can come a knockin at the front door at any time they choose

..just to serve as a warning. And a promise.

And he's not given to writing fiction, either. Sometimes, he's wrong or a source turns out to be incorrect, but that is different from intentional fiction writing. I'd give this a good chance of either being correct or a story put out there by "someone" rather high up who wanted it to be believed or believed it to be true.

Ah, but technically, it would be dropped above Iran, not on it. It's a small difference and probably would cause worse destruction than a direct strike, but sometimes subtle definitions matter. Again, that doesn't make it true; it just is another thing to file under "interesting."

The American House of Representatives approved a little while ago an aid package to Israel totaling about 17 billion dollars. 366 legislators supported and 58 opposed.

Among the aid items:
5.2 billion for the production of the "Iron Dome", "David's Sling" and "Iron Beam" systems.
3.5 billion for the procurement of advanced weapon systems.
1 billion to expand the production and development of artillery and armaments.
4.4 billion "to increase the stocks of defense equipment supplied to Israel".
2.4 billion for ongoing US military operations in the region as "a response to the recent attacks against Israel".

Also, a budget of 9.2 billion was approved for humanitarian aid, "including those affected by the war between Israel and Hamas."

The American House of Representatives this evening also approved an aid package in the amount of nearly 61 billion dollars for Ukraine. 311 legislators voted in favor and 112 opposed.

What is the nuclear signature of which you speak? Unless the bomb was armed and detonated, there would be no mushroom cloud. If the explosives detonated sloppy, you might have a dirty bomb. Unless it detonated properly, there is no EMP.

Amir Tsarfati: Does not mention his source / basis for this.

He does have 3 grown children in the IDF and is an Israeli citizen and Messianic pastor.

Israel is planning to make a few more moves against Iranian interests in the region. Thursday and Friday morning were just the beginning. The plan is to continue with the ambiguity!

He also says that there was just now a 4.2 Earthquake in Iran.

(hmm--WAS it an "earthquake"?)

Kinda sounds like Ritter talking about Israel

But he is right, Persia has a very long history. However, to be fair, there have been many times in the past where Christians, Jews, and Muslims lived in relative peace and harmony with Muslims in control, including during my early life, such as, when Lebanon was called the Jewel of the Med and was a world famous tourist destination.

For the above post:

I've often wondered, and have discussed with a bro of mine a couple times, about WHO has a mini type emp that will be launched against a foe when when full scale war breaks out, that flies over the opponent's air space and fries the electronics on missiles,, AA Defense, and aircraft, then another, and another............. Including nuclear ballistic missiles.

The Air Defense System C-RAM has been activated at the Conoco military base in Deirezzor eastern Syria.

It’s not clear yet whether it’s a military exercises or targeting by the militias supported by the Khamenei regime and located west of the Euphrates River.

Me:

I believe that the militias tried to target the Conoco base with a suicide drone , but it was shot down by the C-RAM system.

In order to galvanize enough of the people, you got to have someone to hate. Someone to blame for your misfortune.
Think Hitler. He galvanized the disenfranchised.
I can think of an American political party that does the same thing. D…..

Blinken ignores State recommendation to sanction Israeli units: Report
The revelation come as US officials insist they’ve seen no evidence of human rights violations by Israel’s forces

State Department leadership is ignoring a recommendation from an internal panel to stop giving weapons to several Israeli military and police units due to credible allegations of serious human rights abuses, according to a major new report from ProPublica.

The alleged violations, which occurred before the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks, include extrajudicial killings, sexual assault of a detainee, and leaving an elderly Palestinian man to die after handcuffing and gagging him. Secretary of State Antony Blinken received the recommendation in December but has yet to take action to prevent the units involved from receiving American weapons.

The bombshell ProPublica report comes just two weeks after White House spokesperson John Kirby insisted to reporters that the Biden administration has yet to see credible allegations of Israeli human rights abuses, despite widespread concerns from human rights groups and aid organizations.

“The State Department has a process, and to date, as you and I are speaking, they have not found any incidents where the Israelis have violated international humanitarian law,” Kirby said. “Unless you think we don't take this seriously, I can assure you that we do.”

“The State Department has looked at incidents in the past and has yet to determine that any of those incidents violate international humanitarian law,” he continued.

The report gives remarkable insight into the ways in which Israel receives unique treatment from U.S. officials in addition to its already privileged status under U.S. law. As ProPublica notes, allegations of Israeli human rights abuses are investigated by a special panel known as the Israel Leahy Vetting Forum (ILVF).

The ILVF’s title is a reference to the Leahy Laws, which prevent units of foreign security services from receiving U.S. weapons if they are found to have committed significant violations of international law. For most states, this vetting process is straightforward and sometimes results in sanctions against specific units, with little input from top-level officials.

But not for Israel. Unlike with other states, Israeli officials are consulted by the ILVF during the vetting process. If the panel finds credible evidence of abuses, then their recommendation is passed onto a group of higher-level officials in Middle East and arms transfer policies. It’s there that the allegations are usually blocked, according to Josh Paul, a former State Department weapons transfer official who resigned in protest last year.

“It's at that point, typically, that the process grinds to a halt, whether it is from the leadership of a bureau involved in the process or sort of a higher level guidance that, ‘Hey, this isn't gonna go anywhere. Let's move on to the next thing,’” Paul told RS last year.

Remarkably, the recommendations revealed by ProPublica made it past this step, meaning that powerful State Department officials endorsed the sanctions before they reached Blinken’s desk. This suggests a greater level of internal anger over alleged Israeli abuses — and a greater willingness among top officials to flout U.S. law — than has previously been reported.

The State Department told ProPublica that the allegations require a “careful and full review,” adding that “the department undergoes a fact-specific investigation applying the same standards and procedures regardless of the country in question.”

The recommendations come as a growing number of Western states have cut off arms sales to Israel due to its actions in Gaza, where a months-long Israeli campaign against Hamas has left more than 34,000 Palestinians dead and many more on the brink of famine. Belgium, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain have all cut off arms sales, and British government lawyers have reportedly recommended to their leadership that it should do the same.

U.S. lawmakers are also scrutinizing sales to Israel following its actions in Gaza. Rep. Gregory Meeks (D-N.Y.) — the top Democrat on the House Foreign Affairs Committee — has placed an informal hold on a long-term deal that would send F-15 fighter jets to Israel.

God has a plan, Trust it!
I have heard Netanyahu speak at multiple Christian conferences through the years. He is close to Joel Rosenberg, who used to be his campaign manager many years ago and often gets him to speak at conferences or on podcasts. While he is Jewish and I do not know his actual stance personally (he's never said if he is a believer or not for obvious reasons), he knows his End Times scripture well. So he is not unaware of what God says is coming. I remember him talking about Ezekiel 38/39 at one conference.

EXCLUSIVE

THE REAL STORY OF THE ISRAELI COUNTER RESPONSE

From a very high level intel source.

In Asia.

NOT Russia-China.

Although the strategic partnership, of course, exchanges at the highest level 24-7.

Confirmed and re-confirmed.

It will be great to know what Sy Hersh hears from his Beltway sources.

Here we go.

Israel initially chose to respond with extreme force.

An F-35 loaded with a nuclear bomb was sent east over Jordan.

The mission: cause a high-altitude detonation over Iran that would provoke a surge in the high-capacity power lines, crippling Iran's electric grid, as well as disabling all electronic devices.

An EMP attack.

However...

... As the Israeli F-35 was leaving Jordanian airspace it was shot down by the Russian Air Force.

Hence the publicised version of the Israeli counter response was such a travesty.

In the end all sides decided not to publicise the real news - to de-escalate what could well turn into WWIII.

I recall seeing a few years ago, a video youtube that supposedly shows a test of an EMP cruise missle.
It showed a room with a bunch of computers and equipment and then everything goes crazy for a second and dies including the video. Not sure if that was BS or not. Maybe this article proves it correct?

The US is expected to announce sanctions against IDF unit for human rights abuses
By BARAK RAVID

The IDF unit operates in the West Bank and is mainly composed of haredi men and extremist youth who hold-far right views, and were not included in other combat units in the IDF.

APRIL 20, 2024 22:29
Updated: APRIL 20, 2024 23:27

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is expected to announce sanctions against the IDF’s Netzah Yehuda Battalion in the next few days, according to three American sources.

The sanctions are a result of human rights violations against Palestinians in the West Bank.

This will be the first time that the United States government has imposed sanctions on an Israeli military unit for its activities in the West Bank.

The sources stated that the American sanctions will prohibit the transfer of US military aid to the Netzah Yehuda Battalion, will prevent its soldiers and officers from taking part in training with the United States military, and will prevent the soldiers from this unit from participating in activities that receive American funding.

The sanctions are based on a 1997 law by former Democratic Senator Patrick Leahy, which prohibits the United States from providing military aid or training to security forces, the military, or the police when there is reliable information about human rights abuses.

A senior US administration official told Walla! that Blinken's decision is based on incidents that occurred before October 7 and occurred only in the West Bank.
This was the only unit Blinken decided to sanction

One of the sources stated that Blinken decided not to impose sanctions on several additional units in the IDF and the Israel Police that were also under investigation because they had corrected their conduct.

On Thursday, the American investigative website ProPublica reported that a special committee of the American State Department, which investigated allegations of human rights violations in the West Bank, forwarded recommendations a few months ago to Blinken to impose sanctions on several units of the IDF and the Israel Police and to prevent them from receiving American funding.

At a press conference in Italy on Friday, Blinken was asked about these recommendations, and claimed that he had made a decision on the matter and that an announcement about it would be made in the coming days.
Israeli officials condemn sanctions

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed outrage at the reported intention to sanction the unit, writing on X that "sanctions must not be imposed on the IDF!"

Netanyahu added that in recent weeks he's been working against the imposition of sanctions on Israeli citizens.

"At a time when our soldiers are fighting the monsters of terror, the intention to impose a sanction on a unit in the IDF is the height of absurdity and a moral low," wrote Netanyahu. "The government headed by me will act by all means against these moves."

The Netzah Yehuda Battalion was originally established as a special military unit for haredim (ultra-orthodox), in which all of the soldiers and officers were men.

Over the years, in light of the low number of haredim who enlisted in the IDF, the unit also began to include extremist youth who held far-right positions and were not included in other combat units in the IDF.

Journalist Amos Harel reported in Haaretz in September 2022 that the US State Department began an investigation into the Netzah Yehuda Battalion following several incidents in which soldiers from the battalion were involved in violence against Palestinian civilians.

One of these incidents included Omar Asad, an 80-year-old Palestinian-American, who died in January 2022.

Asad was arrested in his village near Ramallah at a sudden checkpoint set up by soldiers from Netzah Yehuda. After resisting the search, he was handcuffed, his mouth was gagged, and the soldiers left him on the ground in the middle of the night. A few hours later, he was found dead.

After an investigation into the incident, the IDF stated that there was "a moral failure of the forces and an error in judgment, while seriously harming the value of human dignity."

Following the incident, the commander of the Netzah Yehuda Battalion was reprimanded, and the company commander and the platoon commander of the soldiers were immediately dismissed. The criminal investigation opened against the soldiers was closed without prosecution.

Jerusalem Post Staff contributed to this report.

The attack on Iranian targets from Iraqi airspace was a big F@CK YOU to the United States.

America knew about the attack and told Israel not to enter Iranian airspace.

Israel's method of attack bypassed Biden's demand.

The fact is, Israel is fighting a hot war against Iran and a political war with the US.

The US is not their friend.
We knew that after Oct 7th. We knew it would only be a matter of weeks before FJB would turn on Isreal.
The FJB administration has no friends. He has fuc#ed everyone and everything he touches.
