Crash Test Dummy
A nice inexpensive meal. Buy the pork steaks in bulk family packs and freeze in sizes that meet your family's needs.

6 - 1/3 to 1/2 inch pork steaks with bone
2 cans Mexican Chili Beans (I use the cheap Aldi's brand)
1 empty bean can of water
4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese

Pre heat oven to 375 degrees. Spray large roaster or baking pan that holds all the steaks without over lapping each other with Veggie spray. Pour beans and water over steaks as evenly as possible. Sprinkle cheese over the top. Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour and 1/2 half. Remove foil and bake for another 1/2 hour. Serve with plain cooked white rice to pour bean sauce over. You can add corn or corn on the cob to finish off the meal.

If you made too many as I usually do on purpose. Take the left overs and remove the bones and shred the meat with your hands removing any extra fat. Brown meat quickly in a Teflon pan with a small amount of oil and then add in the bean sauce and cook on low until it is all mixed and heated throughout. Serve on soft flour tortilla's with shredded cheese, tomatoes and lettuce add some Spanish rice and your done.
