Duchess decided to play tag with one of my best layers,Tildy, yesterday morning. The poor girl got skinned on the neck and chest. So after saving her and bringing her in. And Duchess is now in timeout in the outside kennel, I irrigated the wound and treated it. She'll be inside for a long while now.
DH, God love him, is a city boy (ok small town) and the beginning stages of dementia, sometimes makes farm work and care a bigger challenge helping than letting me just do it myself.
Thoroughly disgusted and stressed from Duchess' escapades and his help. He does what DH does best.
He tells Tildy ,after she soils her cage. good girl you have to have a bowel movement before you can be discharged from the hospital.
