While looking at movies on Yutube I came across the series called "Sharpes Rifles".
From what I can tell it has 14 episodes each almost 2 hours long. Was this a series on British TV?

I have watched the first two episodes and find it entertaining.

The first episode has English subtitles which is strange as it is in English to start with.

For thoes interested, link to episode one

Thanks for any info you can give me.

I love the Sharpe series. It aired here in US on PBS Masterpiece Theater. Netflix has it if you get movies in the mail. It's not available for streaming. Truth be told, I have been through the whole series this summer, and have the last DVD here at home to watch right now.

Love Sean Bean. He played Boromir in Lord of the Rings movies and also Ned Stark in last year's season of Game of Thrones.

He did great as the son in The Field,
For a great revenge flick check out Outlaw also starring Lennie James from Jericho & The Walking Dead
