We warned a week ago of the various possibilities surrounding an Ebola outbreak in America, and today we get some degree of confirmation of a medical-based martial-law coming to the US. Governor Dan Malloy has declared a Public Health Emergency in Connecticut, authorizing the "isolation of any individual reasonably believed to have been exposed to the Ebola virus." Simply put, as we noted previously, the State of Public Health Emergency allows bureaucrats to detain and force-vaccinate people without due process - despite not one single case being found in CT. If there is a major Ebola pandemic in America, all of the liberties and the freedoms that you currently enjoy would be gone. The state of public health emergency will remain in effect indefinitely until lifted by the governor.

ok this is scary! I wonder if it is a "test" to gauge public reaction? they pick a liberal state that has NO cases yet, so people arent going to be too worried about it there.

If - "an Ebola outbreak in America"- does come, I hope they quarantine. Unfortunate, but do what needs to be done.

er, just for giggles, how do we know that there IS one authentic case of ebola here?
remember how the rumors surfaced that Sandy Hook mass school shooting was a bunch of actors?

"what if", this whole ebola in America either is, or is about to be, a false flag "pandemic" to enable our dictator-for-life to declare martial law. how would we know?

We wouldn't know just like we don't know about the extended Duncan case.

Also Nancy Writebol has yet to say she had Ebola.

I guess it depends on what we think is important to fight for. Some will not care if they are vaccinated by force and others will not care if their guns are taken, so a line in the sand type thing is different for each. What if half of the state said, NO YOU ARE NOT?

Probably everyone on this forum (in the US, at least) has been living under a formally declared state of emergency for their entire lives:

United States, Senate Report 93-549 states: "That since March 09, 1933 the United States has been in a state of declared
national emergency." Proclamation No. 2039 declared by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on March 9, 1933. This declared national emergency has never been revoked and has been codified into the US Code (12 U.S.C. 95a and b).

This is the attitude that they want, compliance. The time to stop it was long ago, this is just stomping all over our rights in a " justified" fashion. Screw the common good.

Read some contemporaneous 1918 and mid 1920's news and stories.

remember folks, no one can take your rights away, that's why they're called RIGHTS, not permissions. sure the gvmt can TELL you they're gone, but it's up to each one of us to decide whether to give them up or not.

Universal Citation: CT Gen Stat § 19a-131a (2013)

(a) In the event of a state-wide or regional public health emergency, the Governor shall make a good faith effort to inform the legislative leaders specified in subsection (b) of this section before declaring that the emergency exists and may do any of the following:

(1) Order the commissioner to implement all or a portion of the public health emergency response plan developed pursuant to section 19a-131g;

(2) authorize the commissioner to isolate or quarantine persons in accordance with section 19a-131b;

(3) order the commissioner to vaccinate persons in accordance with section 19a-131e;

(4) apply for and receive federal assistance; or

(5) order the commissioner to suspend certain license renewal and inspection functions during the period of the emergency and during the six-month period following the date the emergency is declared to be over.

(b) (1) Any declaration issued pursuant to this section shall become effective upon its filing with the Secretary of the State and with the clerks of the House of Representatives and Senate.

The declaration shall state the nature of the public health emergency, the political subdivisions or geographic area subject to the declaration, the conditions that have brought about the public health emergency, the duration of the public health emergency and the public health authority responding to the emergency.

Any such declaration issued by the Governor may be disapproved and nullified by majority vote of a committee consisting of the president pro tempore of the

Senate, the speaker of the House of Representatives, the majority and minority leaders of both houses of the General Assembly and the cochairpersons and ranking members of the joint standing committee of the General Assembly having cognizance of matters relating to public health. Such disapproval shall not be effective unless filed with the Secretary of the State not later than seventy-two hours after the filing of the Governor’s declaration with the Secretary of the State.

It still does not say "forced vaccinations". It means to make the vaccinations available. This is still the US. You can't be forced to take medical treatment. You can be quarantined for public safety.
The Supreme court has already ruled that they can't force you to take a vaccine.

During a State of Emergency our Constitutional Rights are suspended.

Our idiot governor "Dannel" is running for re-election in November so he of course has to be shown to be "doing something" about this issue. Oh excuse me, since he's running for office, we can call him "Dan" again. (he really went ballistic after his election 4 years ago when some reporter referred to him as "Dan" Malloy and he gave him "THE LOOK" and said "I prefer to be addressed as Dannel" Yeah right. But I digress.

There is nothing on any of my FD e-mails referring to forced vaccinations or suspension of Civil rights for the duration of the "emergency" Now if people are dropping in the streets and the hospitals are full up like over in Africa right now? yeah I guess things are going to change around here, but by then the world as we know it will be totally screwed up beyond all redemption anyways. Right now, I think it is an incumbent governor trying to stay an incumbent governor
