From reading this thread, BTW, thank you, Packy, I see that I need to go through my house, and get rid of a lot of my cleaning products. After reading about the Lysol being harmful to pets, I continued to look at other cleaning products. Many that we use on a regular basis are also harmful. I think I'll stick with rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and white vinegar from now on.
I found that equal parts water and vinegar and about one and a half tablespoons of dawn work great for carpet spills (and other things). Mine is in a 32 oz bottle so might want to play with the amount of dawn if smaller bottle. Mine ended up looking mostly clear with a few suds on top. I can’t really tell that it has a scent. You may smell some vinegar at first, but it doesn’t tend to linger long at all. Wipes up with no suds.

To cut down on all the germs, mold, and mildew, I've always used Lysol spray, even on walls. I've got a cabinet shelf stocked with the stuff. During the Covid craze, Lysol and Clorox wipes were in high demand, and I thought I was in good shape.
