Moderate as well....at least that is the closest I can come. My best 'guess' sans the grid going down or the markets finally imploding is a gradual quickening of things coming apart. More and more people getting sick this winter, more and more shortages on the shelves, prices on the things you need exploding higher if you can get them. More violence as people start to get desperate and the safety nets have been removed with all the stimmy checks, etc.

Unless I've missed it, no one has mentioned the invaders pouring across the border.
With everyone already here calling Mom, the cousins, and their hundred besties...."the welfare bennies are AWSOME!," that's gonna go exponential fast.

They will be pissed once things break down so much that there is little to buy, That's not what they signed up for. Good luck being remote enough to escape that. The numbers of angry young men with nothing to do, and nothing to loose will be overwhelming. This country will not survive it.

When the grid is down during an upcoming cold snap it will get real. TPTB are working hard on making the already fragile grid more unstable, from restricting the drilling of oil/natural gas to shutting down existing power plants. Between the large increase in solar flair activity and state sponsored cyber attacks in will be game on.

I know many here try and debunk the EMP threat but consider China has MANY nukes and even if they dont cause as widespread damage as believed by some, they will certainly take down small regions of the country such as the North East and S. CA leading to cascading failure of the rest of the grid.

Since my father holds a PhD in Physics, was an atmospheric physicist and held a Q clearance while doing EMP research for the .gov before becoming a professor, I tend to believe him re the potential for significant damage to the modern grid from a properly placed EMP.

If you combine the cyber attacks with our own .gov screwing the grid by design and the potential for China to invade Taiwan plus Russia getting involved, it could get really bad really fast. If this goes we won't see delayed Amazon packages, no China plastic toys for X-Mas and having to wait a month for a new truck as a problem anymore.

It will be "Daddy, I'm cold and hungry, when can we have something to eat again?"

I read a book called Shell Game. Cuban missile Crisis. Not saying the Chinese nukes are made out of wood, but am wondering how many they claim are Nuclear weapons are actually EMP weapons or Neutron bombs?

I keep telling myself they won't pollute land they need to grow food, but....

I voted Devastating Doom.

I am of a mind between moderate and devastating , so I went with devastating. I hope I am wrong.

I've been a life long prepper, but never have I felt so at unease. The thing that worries me most is our fragile power infrastructure. I have basics covered, but I worry about having heat.

My brother is a very level headed, not overreacting type guy, and he is worried about the infrastructure. He bought me a pallet of pressed logs to go with my other firewood. He thinks we are going to have a bad winter.

I wish I had a woodstove or a fireplace. I don't and won't be getting one before winter as things stand. I do have a couple of kero heaters and some kero, but after a week or two that's gone. I have a propane heater, but again how long can I stretch the propane? I will be down to hand warmers and blankets before I know it.

Candles throw a surprising amount of heat, even tea candles. You’d want to use them in a confined space with carbon monoxide detectors, of course, but they are easy to store, and can often be found in thrift stores and yard sales.
You won’t get to 70 degrees, but you’ll be warmer than most folks would guess.

Personally the mandate is doom enough for us. I dont see catastrophic though. I see energy prices increase and further strains on our infrastructure. Power outages etc that last longer due to material avails. Shortages get worse and prices across the board increase.

I went with all speed ahead ...I think toys for kids will be the least of anyone's problem... homestead has enough food and water and natural gas ..but I have made an extra stash of food

I'm saying moderate doom due to being somewhat prepared. It will be devastating doom for many. That is always true of any event. For some they will hardly notice, others it will be the end of the world as they know it or possibly just the end of the world for them. I'm hoping I fall somewhere in the moderate doom area so I'm basing my vote on that. Anyway you look at it this winter is looking to be bad. Natural gas prices are to go up over 50% which would be bad in any scenario but if we have a very cold winter it will be a financial nightmare for most of us.

Heating in winter isn't a big problem where I live, but I plan to make one of these just to see how it goes. Search YouTube for flower pot heater or Cornish room heater. I'd put the unit in the video on a cork pad to keep the rod from heat-damaging the tabletop.

I have been in houses when the electricity went off and we made it somehow. Big heavy blankets. There are some really nice ones. When I lived in Iowa, we had a really cold winter and people were having a hard time paying their heating bills and the news interviewed people and showed what they were doing. Some had plastic over all the windows and they hung blankets and also they shut doors and closed off rooms. I hope the power stays on and people are not faced with this. Watching Texas last winter was sad seeing people in their cars trying to stay warm.

"In Omnia Paratus" is more than just a phrase
I'm thinking we're going to see minimal doom until we don't, and then it'll be overwhelming all at once, with no one escaping, no matter your prep level.

We're under judgment, your preps aren't going to help in this.

And thats not even touching if this is the opening of the 1st Seal.

This may seem like a cop out but all doom is local. Meaning for some it will be death and for some they might get close to normalcy. Too many factors in play

^^Truth^^

Consider the 2004 Indian Ocean quake and tsunami--a major catastrophe by anyone's measure with more than a quarter of a million deaths. But unless you knew someone who died, it probably didn't make so much as a ripple in your pond. Things that happen to people half a world away with whom you have no truck tend not to ruffle your feathers unless they happen to grow or make something you need.

I voted "moderate doom." Like everyone else, I expect continued problems with COVID and the supply chain. The chip shortage is a major concern with wide-reaching consequences. A cyberattack on the grid or financial system wouldn't shock me. The stock market is due for a shakeout. And something in my gut says there's a major natural disaster on the way. Don't know where, don't know when, don't know what--volcano or earthquake spring most immediately to mind, but I'm not ruling out an asteroid or a solar flare. If it's bad enough, I'll come back and kick my vote up a notch.

Well, we are still commanded to occupy and provide for our families so we do what we can.

We just had the anxiety poll and people were not interested and pretty laid back as far as the poll went.

80% on this poll say things will be really bad or even catastrophic with over a 1000 views in a half day.

DEPLORABLE ME
I voted for moderate but it remains to be seen how all this will play out. I think their game plan is to have everything possible come to a complete halt: food, health care, energy, etc. Bring it all down then the masses will be begging for the reset.
......Or shooting those in charge......

The anxiety poll seems to be a snapshot of the present moment. We are all still operating with some level of comfort, so I don’t think it picked up our growing negative intuitions.

This poll, on the other hand, is looking out beyond 5 months, and doing so as the days are becoming shorter and colder. Plus, the predictive element tends to draw some additional interest. Maybe?

Do you have any wool sweaters

Do you have any wool sweaters? Wool will keep you very warm and you can often find them real cheap at goodwill. Wool over-socks will also keep your feet extremely toasty at night or if you're sitting in a cold room. Wool sweater, wool hat and wool socks and a silk scarf.

Talk is cheap
I see the PTB loosing their control little by little. They'll keep trying to incite fear here and there, but I believe most people are growing weary of it regardless of their political leanings.

I agree, and then when they decide to, out of desperation and frustration, they will call for major damage...we can see the many dots, and soon, it will be full-bore-the-other-shoe-has-dropped.

I say devastating doom because we are already in the election cycle for 2022. Dims have to push the agenda down everyones throat. Everthing is on the table including no power, no food, with more mandates and war. They will go for broke this winter.

I chose moderate. Rolling blackouts are what keep coming to my mind. For us, personally that would be a walk in the park. But for the population at large it would be a major disruptor.

The big worry for us is our son. He's getting ready to leave a fully functioning, self sufficient farm and head out on his own to a one bedroom apartment in a strange - but thankfully, warm- city. If communications go down along with the powe,r no internet, and no water...maybe no gas to get home.... or no interstate travel... believe me, my catastrophic thinking can run off the charts. Oh and we're going to be hearing Boosters,Boosters,Boosters! I already read that Colin Powel's death was "a wake up call" to get your boosters! What load of bilge!

I'm afraid the cowboy outfit that's running this show has much more in store for us.

I find myself going big on this one. I hope I’m wrong. For whatever reason, my desire to top off preps has been rising. Call it paranoid, or maybe call it intuitive precognition. Something in the universe just feels off.
I have been feeling the exact same way. If tptb ever wanted to really mix things up, I don't think they could ever get a better chance than under a Biden presidency. I really feel like that is the risk. Incompetence.

I'm not sure how much neutron bombs would contaminate long term, because their main lethal effect is the radiation burst when the thing goes off, not radioactive fallout which is a different mechanism.

Remember, we're entering the fall harvest season, and our genetic grimlins are still being flipped on and screaming at us that time is short and we must gather all the nuts we can make while the sun dost yet shine, to mix metaphors, and paraphrase (badly) what someone(s) before me have oft said; pay that no more mind than you would any other hormonal fluctuation that was trying to have undue influence on your thoughts and actions.

Anyways. March 22. I vote minimal doom because we've already taken the biggest step off the cliff. BTW I commend us one and all for surviving the unprecedented turmoil that ripped us from our once familiar worlds. Not a small thing to have been hit with, and we done did good to get here.

I'm sure this evil mastermind has more in store for us, and ultimately we'll find ourselves in an even more absurd mash up of twilight zone episodes, but I don't think they'll have the impact the skin-sacs hope they will, because we've already had our security ripped from us, and whatever they come up with next will just be more of the same ole same ole, with ever diminishing returns.

Come march we'll be happier than ever, playing in our gardens, thinking of summer sunshine, waiting for our "free money" tax returns happy to be in that "free" season where we're "saving money" by not paying for heating, or cooling, in much of the nation. We are already at war, and even if it goes hot and loud and in our face, we're not yet going to see tanks rolling down the streets. The ever unending march towards twilight will remain obvious, but I have confidence in us that we'll keep doing what we've done to get this far: Living, loving and building bridges into the future.

On TB every waking moment
I was thinking today that I would be ok if I continued to have access to utilities and some sort of policing. If Clif H is correct and people start dropping like flies from clots or compromised immune systems from the jab, there may not be qualified personnel to operate water/sewer/electricity/police. Heck, I might be a gonner myself.

Most municipalities and utilities will require the jab for continued employment.

About that... The repercussions may be felt locally but the cause or trigger may be global in nature. A hundred years ago food was more locally sourced year round and put by in season. Today there are to many variables.
